Luciano's POV

I decided to call a meeting with my Beta's Family and my Gamma-Chris-was also present. My parents and Stephan's parents were here. After telling everyone what Richard had told Esme and I everyone looked at me with shock. I wasn't surprised though, I was more worried than surprised. Esme wasn't here right now and I was on edge not knowing how she was doing, I was still really pissed off with her previous actions and I was not going to deny it. "Danny would you please check on Esme, she needs to be here" I said to my sister as she nodded and went to check on my mate. I decided the pack doctor would come over because I couldn't risk Esme getting into trouble again.

"You really shouldn't have let Esme leave the house son. How did she even sneak past you?" My mother asked and to be honest, I had no idea she was going to go anyways. "She jumped out the window mum, but we have bigger problems. A battle is coming really soon, and according to Richard, Jefferson has already recruited 300 rogues. Not that I'm scared, I'm just worried about Esme. She would definitely want to fight but she's not ready, besides she'll be graduating from high school soon, as well as Danny, Alley and Fania. So they'll definitely be in danger. Esme just got her wolf and she hasn't gotten used to the feeling yet. I just can't..." I was still trying to finish my sentence when I caught a whiff of her orchid scent. "I want to fight Luciano, and you are not going to stop me" of course, my stubborn mate just had to show up.

"Are you okay? Has the wound been properly dressed?" I asked trying to avoid what she said. "Don't try to ignore my statement, I will fight and no one will stop me" how did I get such a stubborn mate, she's so strong headed, she's acting like a mule. "Baby I'm sorry but you're not going to fight, you haven't even trained and don't even get me started on how stubborn you are" she really doesn't have to do this, I mean no one is going to be against her if she just backs out. "I'm the Luna of this pack Luciano, it is my duty to protect my pack and my mate. My friends are equally going to be in danger. I need to fight" when she calls me Luciano, I know how serious she's getting because lately, she only ever calls me Jerry. "If you insist, but you'll have to start training. Chris is my Gamma and I trust he'll be more than happy to train you, I'll be checking in on your training sessions once in a while" she nods. When you have such a stubborn mate, it's better to just give in.

"If Esme is going to fight, then I want to fight too" Alley stated out of the blue making Stephan stare coldly at her. "No no no no no, you will not fight Alley and that's final." Why do these two ladies have to be so stubborn. I really don't get it. "I'm sorry Stephie but I'm the beta female. I have to fight for my pack" Stephie? She calls him Stephie? "Babe don't call me that in front of everyone" my beta whines and I try as much as I can to hide my laughter. "But if you insist, you can train with Esme" at least that's all over. "We want to fight too" my sister and Fania both state at the same time. All these girls are trouble. "I'm sorry little ones, you're not fighting" I said hoping they'd just listen

"Well, if they're both going to fight we want to fight too" I've literally had enough stubbornness for one day. "Okay, okay but we need to go over the plans later. I guess you girls have some graduation plans to talk about. Your training starts the day after your graduation, 8:00am every morning, you may be excused. Esme please be careful, your wounds should heal completely over the night"

"Dude, are we really going to let them fight?" My beta asked me. "If they really want to, let them. Hold up, she calls you Stephie?" My beta stares at me and shoves me by the shoulder making both of us laugh.

Esme's POV

"At least they're letting us fight. Now to go over graduation plans, so we're done with exams and our graduation's in two days. The colour code is nude and I'm sure everyone has their gowns. Remember, the theme is classic-traditional" I was cut off by Danny. "Don't forget I and Fania's birthdays are coming up too" ohh yeah, I almost forgot. "That's true. Now about this war shit; look we decided to represent our pack. Not because we're stubborn but because we are strong, we are brave and our courage is a symbol of strength. We are symbols of strength and we need to focus completely on our training, we need to put our hearts to it. We also need to come up with a plan of our own but we'll do all that after our graduation" I finish my speech and my friends all come up to hug me. "You're literally the best Luna we could ever ask for" Fania said making me feel flushed. "And the best friend" Alley added. "I couldn't agree more" Danny cooed

"I'm doing it all for the pack" I say in return.
