Chapter 16

Ethan's POV

Unlike my sister and her mate I didn't need to waste time getting to know Erianna, we basically grew up together and I know her inside out. I had already placed my mark on her and I claimed her just yesterday. Her ocean scent had already mixed with my Bluebell scent making her scent even more obsessive, ' I think I just found my obsession '. I went to see my father, I needed to ask him about something. Now that I was Alpha I needed a house of my own, where my mate and I could start our own family. We needed our privacy and our own space, and I had to talk to my father about it first. "Dad, I need to talk to you" I said when I met him in the living room. "What about, son?"

"It's about my accommodation, I can't start a family while still living under my parents roof. I need a space of my own, where Anna and I could have our privacy, and start our new lives together as mates. I'm not saying I'm tired of living with you and mum, I'm just saying I'm all grown up now and I'm my own man. I hope you can understand" I said pouring out my mind to him, hoping he understood me. "It's okay son, I understand you. Your mother and I have been thinking about the same thing and it's good you came to meet me about it, it shows how mature you are. We're already contracting some engineers, we just need you to choose a location. There are unpossessed acres of land everywhere on the pack, just choose a location, design and choice of decor. Then we'll tell them to start up with it." My father just made my day. "Thanks a lot Dad" I left the living room and headed to my bedroom to tell my mate about the news. But I wanted the house to be a surprise to her, ' why don't I just take her to the movies? We haven't gone out for a while now'. Erianna was sitting on the bed trying to put her shoes on. "Baby we're going out to see a movie. Whichever one you want" I stated as she looked up at me. "Okay, let me just grab my purse" she said, she was about walking out the bedroom when I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her close. I peppered her face with kisses and trailed them down her neck. "You're really beautiful, you know that?" I asked rhetorically

"Honey stop it, your parents might see us. C'mon, let's go" she said pulling away. I held her hand as we walked out the door and down the stairs. "Where are you two going looking all nice?" My mum asked out of the blue. "Mum we're just going to see a movie. We'll be back before dinner" I said not wanting to worry her much. "Okay, but be careful and take care of Erianna, she might be your mate but she has always been my daughter" my mum was always protective of her daughters and sometimes it was kind of annoying. "Yes mum, I get it. Bye" Anna and I walked out the door and I held her hand as I walked her to the car. Our drive to the cinema was completely chatty. We talked about a tonne of things, when we got to the cinema we had a problem. "I'm sorry Alpha, but the movies are all sold out" the ticket attendant stated, this was definitely going to ruin our evening. "If you want I could tell someone to swap places with you so you could see the movie. I mean you are our Alpha" the attendant offered and I wasn't going to ruin someone's day. "No no, it's fine. We'll be on our way" I held her hand and we walked out. I was pretty upset, this was supposed to be a special evening and it just got ruined. Anna sensed my mood and came closer to me.

"It's okay, you did your best. Besides the evening isn't totally ruined. Did I tell you I loved the ocean or basically any body of water. We could take a walk by the ocean and leave footprints there. It'll be fun. Come on, let's go" Anna said dragging me along. She offered to drive and I agreed, not long after we were by the ocean. We walked on the sand and splashed water at each other. We kept playing like we were kids and she was no doubt having lots of fun.

"I like it when you're like this, when you're cheerful. It makes me feel happy. I just wish we had a place of our own. I love Mama and Papa but it would be nice if we lived on our own. I'm done with highschool so it shouldn't really be a problem if we wanted to live on our own, right?" She had a point and I think I just had a good idea. "I'm already working on that and I just wanted you to know that I'd do anything to make you happy." I just hope this all works out the way I'm hoping it will, because I just found the perfect spot for our house. "I love you Ethan" Anna said making me feel like I was the happiest man on Earth.

"I love you more, Erianna" I said as I kissed her right there on the sand.
