Chapter 19

Luciano's POV

I sat in the living room waiting for my princess to get back from school. She was finally mine and I loved the feeling because I knew that she had finally warmed up to me. I needed to give her something special. Maybe like a romantic dinner or something. I just got the perfect idea.

It was 5:30pm and the door swung open, and I was quite surprised to see four girls come in. It was my Esme, Danny, Fania-my beta's younger sister and his mate Alley. Even Stephan was here. "Hey man, it's good to finally see you" Stephan said bro-hugging me. Stephan was my best friend and we've been inseparable since we were kids. "Hey bro, good to see you too. I can see you already marked yours and by the way her scent changed you've done much more than that. Nice work man" I said as I shook his hand. "It wasn't that hard, we're obsessed with each other. Is yours giving you any trouble?" He asked clearly referring to Esme.

"No man we all cool, she's just taking her sweet time. She even made me ask her out" I said taking a glance at my mate. "She made you ask her out? Okay, if she's giving you trouble I think I like her" he said laughing at me. "I'm not even gonna say anything to you" Esme started walking towards my direction. "Hey Jerry" she said as she swung her arms around me. I gripped her waist and spoke to her softly. "Hey baby, how did your day go?" She chuckled making Stephan and Alley go all 'yuck' whereas my sister and Fania were like 'awwwn', I couldn't help but laugh "it went rough, plus Jack kept disturbing me but I'm okay" again with this Jack guy. "He didn't touch you, did he? Anyways, why is everyone here?" "He didn't touch me, and the girls and I have a project to work on. We're going to paint" darn it, just when we were going to have some alone time. "okay, ummm, Later then" I kissed her as she followed the girls upstairs.

It was already 7:00 pm and Esme was yet to finish. They girls had gone home and Danny just had dinner. I got everything set and put fresh orchids on the table. There was wine and steak, with mashed potatoes and peas. And a side dish of fried fish sticks. I was currently working on dessert and I made chocolate scones. I set the table and proceeded to call her name. "Esme, come down for dinner". I locked my bedroom because I had another surprise there for her. She ran down the stairs and towards the table. When she got to her seat she stopped and came over to hug me. "You're the best, you know that right?" I have the best mate I could ever ask for. "And you're the mate I've been asking the moon goddess for" I said and then kissed her

Dinner was quite chatty and we kept laughing at each other's jokes. "I'm exhausted, are you done coz I want to do the dishes" Esme queried and I wasn't planning on letting her do the dishes. "Yes and no, you will not do the dishes, I can handle them" I said making my point quite clear. "Fine, but we'll do it together?" That, I could agree with. "Fine"
In a couple of minutes we were done with the dishes and we were both soaking wet because we kept splashing water on each other. I picked up my princess and took her upstairs. She wanted to spend the night in my bedroom again and I was only going to agree.

I opened the door and the bed was completely covered in orchids. That was the second surprise I had for her, before I knew it she jumped on me and peppered me with kisses. "Princess cut it out" I said chuckling. 'Did I just chuckle? What is going on?' she refused to get down and I took her in and gently placed her on the bed. "I would do anything for you, I would give my life for you if I got the chance to. You're my mate Esme and I adore you" I said before smashing my lips unto her. She swung her arms around me as she kissed me back, we went on with this before I moved to join her on the bed. I slid my hands beneath her and grabbed her ass. I left her lips and started to tease her neck like I often did and she couldn't help but moan and chuckle at the feeling.

"Jerry" she called my name. "Yes princess" I answered still kissing her neck. "I want you to mark me" she what? "What?" I asked unsure of what I heard. "I want you to mark me. I've thought about it and I'm ready to bear your mark" I was speechless then I left her side and sat in front of her. I took her hands and looked her deep in her eyes. "Are you sure you want this princess? I mean have you thought about it? Look I need to know you really want this" I didn't want to do anything that would make her end up regretting her decision. "Yes, I've thought about it and I know I want your mark" that seemed convincing enough. "Okay princess, if you say so" I said kissing her hands "but this might sting a little" I stated before proceeding to tease her neck even more, I moved to a spot between her neck and her shoulder, the same spot I said I'd mark her and I started to leave kisses around it. I licked it a little bit before I extended my canines and grazed that spot with my teeth. I pierced my canines into her skin and she hissed in pain, after piercing it I licked her neck allowing her skin to heal a little. When I was done, my mark laid visibly on her neck, I was proud of what I did. "Are you done? How does it look?" She asked. "Yes princess, it looks sore" I replied and she rolled her eyes. "I mean how does it look?" Huh, "ohhh, it looks reddish but by Tomorrow it will look pinkish and after a while it will almost fade away. We need to get some sleep princess. Goodnight" I said before kissing her forehead.

"Goodnight Jerry" she said back before adjusting and covering herself up.
