Where dark lurks,
where kids wander,
and candy perks,
and where children ponder. The times where you could get or give,
have now stopped. But with such a night,
with candy and fright,
will come with delight.October is weird this year,
for trick-or-treating may not be happening.
Though kids are in full cheer,
I fear it's maddening.Holidays are avoided,
for COVID is here.
It will not disappear,
so we must endure and say, "I'm here."We'll try to make Halloween fun,
try your best.
For candy will be given in tons,
or that's what we guessed. We hope candy will be given,
so children will enjoy.
I hope they'll be able to go out.
They'll have so much to talk about.
