Escape

Trapped,
no way out.
Waiting for an answer,
but I doubt,
that anyone will hear my shout.

Darkness surrounds,
no light,
not knowing if it's day or night.

All I hear
is the scrapping of a dish.
I feel that he's here,
I hope for a wish.

But it never comes,
he just leaves me alone.
Acting like I need to atone.

In the dark
I close my eyes.
I then opened them,
to reveal a spark.

A man in front of me
smiles softly.
I can't flee,
I smile in glee,
I'm finally allowed to die,
Goodbye

Alas it was a dream,
I sit in the dark.
                             Not allowed to embark,
for my world is the dark.
