Update - Two years later

Hello, it's been a while!

I finished this book over two years ago and yet I still get notifications daily, whether it's people adding this to their reading list, voting, or commenting. It amazes me how much love this story gets considering I started it when I was fourteen in Year 10 (for comparison, I'm twenty in my third year of uni now). I just wanted to say thank you for the continuing love this story receives, this story meant a lot to me through a very difficult period of my life, and one of the best parts of writing is knowing that people have enjoyed what I've worked so hard to create.

However, I was intending on editing this story since I hate the early chapters and how bad my writing was, but I decided against it so I could instead focus on new stories. It's been so long since I worked on this story and I've definitely grown as a writer so if you've braved this book through the spelling and grammar as well as the dodgy writing, I commend you.

I'd originally planned a sequel but it felt too forced, and I just didn't want to spoil this first book, so instead I started a new Game of Thrones fic. This is a shameless promo, but to anyone who doesn't already know and doesn't already read it, I'm sure you'll love my new book, Only A Northern Song. It's another Stark/Willas Tyrell love story, but I'm so proud of how much my writing has evolved from this story to that one. There's a lot more interactions with the Starks, the Tyrell's feature a lot more, and it's got a badass female protagonist so it's everything I missed about writing this. What with my country being in a second lockdown, I'm using my time (when I'm not doing uni work) writing, so I hope that anyone in a similar situation to me can find some sort of escapism or pleasure from reading my stories.
