You've got that power over me, my my
Everything I hold dear resides in those eyes
You've got that power over me, my my
The only one I know, the only one on my mind

My head kills, go figure. I don't remember what time I got in last night, but I've woken up in the middle of the afternoon so it must have been in the early hours of the morning. I've got to go work tonight, meaning I have to face Harry. I was a bit of a dick to him last night, considering he did make sure I got home. Without his help I'd probably be on the floor outside the club still. I still don't quite understand why he would help me after he clearly doesn't like me, I mean he told me he doesn't. If he really didn't like me then he would have just left me. Maybe I judged him too quickly.

God I need a joint to sort out this hangover, I don't think I could handle the smell of alcohol right now let alone serving it. I go up to my usual spot on the roof terrace and light my already rolled joint. As I bring it to my lips I remember I left Katie with Joe last night! I quickly send her a text for a update, I need to know what happened there. I can't believe I forgot!

Joe was such a nice guy, right from my interview he's been nothing but kind to me, it was nice to work with people you actually got along with as a friend. All the other girls at Ivy were so stuck up it was hard to hold a conversation with them that wasn't all about them. I may have a difficult boss but Joe makes up for it.

*We went back to his place and just stayed up talking until I passed out. Left his an hour ago, I need sleep now but WOW* Katie texts back. It's so nice to see her happy with someone, she never has much luck with guys.

As I finish my joint I head back in to have a shower and get ready for work, trying to wash this hangover away. I don't think my feet can handle another night of heels, I'm sure if I put my Calvin Klein trainers on Joe wouldn't mind, my feet need the break!

As I walk into the club, Joe has a massive grin on his face. The effect of Katie no doubt. "Hey Joeeee" I say as I slide over to the bar, smiling back at him.

"Not. A. Word. Daisy. Seriously, Harry will take the piss if he hears." He says seriously, knowing that I want to tease him about Katie.

"Is Harry in tonight?" I ask, wondering if I should go apologise for last night.

"Yeah, he'll be down in a minute, just in his office sorting out business." Joe says looking away from me, seeming suspicious again whenever he mentions this 'business'. "Did you get home okay? You were pretty wasted." He laughs as he changes the subject.

"Yeah well actually, Harry walked me home." I mention slowly, unsure whether I should be telling him. Joe freezes whilst pouring the shots, looking at me in disbelief. "Yeah I know, I wanted to go apologise to him for being so drunk, I kinda just called him a dickhead and then shut the door in his face." I grit my teeth, feeling awkward about it all. Joe bursts out in laughter over it all, at least he finds it funny, not sure if Harry did.

"Oh good, our shot bitch didn't die last night." I hear Harry say from behind me. I look up at him behind me, feeling my face go red from embarrassment. I notice 5 rather large guys all in suits come down the stairs from Harry's office, waving to Harry as they head to his booth. That must be his business.

"Ha...yeah, umm, thanks again for last night, sorry for just shutting the door in your face." I say as I try to avoid eye contact with him.

"That's alright, you owe me." He says, making me look right at him to see if he's joking, he's not. How did I know this was where it was gonna go, only nice people help others out the kindness of their heart.
