NICK'S P.O.V.: I drove to a nice hotel, parked downstairs and walked to the reception to rent a room.

"Hello, I would like to rent a suite."

"For how many time?"

"Umm a week."

"Okay, here is it sir. You can go now." A blonde guy said ans gave me a card.

"Thank you."

I took the elevator to the very last floor of the building and once in the room, I left my suitcase on the bed and laid beside it.

Single life...I don't even know how to be single anymore. Or maybe I do, I don't know. That was the first time I could properly think of Priyanka ever since she kicked me out of her life.

I wasn't going to lie to myself, I wasn't sad for it. It felt relieving in the slightest and I hated it but that's the way things work.

I think I fell asleep while thinking about it cause when I woke up again, it was past 3 p.m. and I was seriously hungry. That's why I decided to go to the hotel's restaurant and eat there.

I ordered fish with vegetables and was highly disappointed when I noticed I was actually eating chicken. It was a mistake and of course I didn't say anything cause the waitress looked young and new on that work.

"How's the food?" He asked me and I nodded with a grin.

"It's pretty good. Thanks" I told him and chuckled as I watched him ask table by table the same question.

Weirdly, that wasn't the only mistake they made. When I went back to my room, I found a couple sleeping in my bed. I frowned and cleared my throat. They looked at me after stopping laughing and I raised my eyebrows.

"I'm sorry? This is my room?" They looked surprised to see me there.

"Is it?" I nodded and they sat up before the boy started talking. "We asked for a room and they gave us this one. We didn't know there was someone here...we're really sorry. But it was a hotel's mistake."

"I see." I sighed in frustration and they stood up from bed ready to go. For his accent I could tell they weren't from L.A. "Is this your vacation?" I asked them and she chuckled before showing me her hand.

"Honeymoon."

"That's...congratulations guys. You know what? I'm gonna look for another hotel, you can stay here and enjoy your honeymoon."

"Oh no no, we're the ones that have to leave." I shook my head and grabbed my suitcase.

"You're not going anywhere. I'll leave, this is such an important thing for you both. I'm gonna be fine in another hotel."

"Really?" She asked with a big smile and I nodded. "Thank you so much, what do we owe you?"

"Nothing, just enjoy your moment of happiness." They smiled at me and I left the room with a sigh. I had nowhere to go again.

Maybe Joe's idea wasn't that bad...it would be just for a day and just because it's past lunch already. I bit my lip as I thought of the possibilities and nodded before leaving the hotel.

It took me about 2 hours and asking in some hotels for a room to get to her house. I guessed she was there because I heard a piano playing.

With a long and shaky sigh, I rang the doorbell and glanced to my shoes. She opened shortly after with a frown.

"Nick?" I looked at her and nodded.

"Demi, hi I...I don't know how to start this."

"Umm, wait, come in. Someone could see us here." We walked into her house and she closed the door before I started playing with my hands. "So...you're gonna tell me what happened or..."

"Priyanka kicked me out of the house, that's a long story."

"Wait, she did what?!" She asked me with shock in her eyes and I chuckled.

"What you heard."

"Okay, hold on. I'm gonna make some coffee and you're gonna tell me all about that." She disappeared into her kitchen and I sat on the sofa checking on the time. 4:53 p.m.

I told her the whole story when she came back with two mugs of coffee. Her reaction was nothing but a shock face.

"So...that was it. Anything to say?"

"I can't believe she did such a thing. Like, how the fuck?! She almost killed me the other day when I had dinner in your house. She kept saying that you were hers, as if I didn't know...and now she just breaks up with you and kicks you out of the house you bought with your money?" She sighed while shaking her head and chuckled. "That bitch is crazy as fuck."

"I guess so." I said after laughing at her comment and I knew it was my time to ask for what I needed. "So, I called Joe, Kevin and Frankie and none of them can have me at their house, I can't go back to mom and dad's after a failed marriage...and I went through about 10 hotels but they were horrible, or with bad service or too expensive for my bullet." She laughed and nodded.

"Okay."

"Okay what?"

"You don't have to ask me, I know you need a place to stay for some days. You can stay here, I'm alone and no one visits often. You can take it as my offer to remake our friendship."

"Really?" She nodded and I hugged her. "Thank you."

"You don't have to thank me, I feel lonely most of the time in this big house so...it's a good thing for me too. We never did such a thing, but I think it can be fun."

"Like touring together but now, living together...not going anywhere and with no one else around."

"That could be fun and interesting." She whispered as she glanced to her coffee.

"Umm, can I bring my suitcase here? It's in my car."

"Oh sure, I'm gonna make sure the guest's room is ready for you to use it, meanwhile."

There it is, I'm doing what Joe said. Maybe it was a good idea.
