NICK P.O.V.: We arrived to the hospital in complete silence about 10 minutes later. It didn't take us too much to find my family. They all were waiting at the end of a hall that was completly empty. I walked faster to meet them and they smiled at me.

"Nick, we're glad you arrived...Joe is freaking out with Sophie in the room." Kevin said.

"The baby isn't born yet?" I asked and my mom shook her head with a slight smile.

"Hi..." I heard someone say behind me and remembered that Demi was with me.

"Uh umm, Demi was with me in a party and I brought her along with me, I hope it isn't a problem for anyone." She walked closer to my family with a shy smile and my mom hugged her.

"Demi, it's been a while, how are you?"

"I'm fine thanks...I hope y'all are good too." They all nodded and she finished greeting the whole family. "Ummm I don't know if my presence is allow here but I wanna say sorry to all of you for acting in any bad manner in 2018 when you actually tried to help me."

"Demi, don't worry about it...we all make mistakes, we weren't perfect either." My dad said and Kevin chuckled.

"And the past is passed so chil."

"Thanks." She whispered and I put my hand in her back.

"Let's sit." She nodded and we sat together in front of the rest of the family.

"Guys." Joe said when he saw us after leving the room. "Hey, I'm glad you are here. I tried to call Nick but he never replied." Demi chuckled and nodded.

"I think he was busy with some girl in the club." Everyone looked at me with surprised expressions.

"Nick...what about Piyanka?" My dad asked and I laughed.

"I guess I forgot to tell y'all but we're gonna divorce. It was nice while it lasted but I'm really better this way." Everyone seemed to be in shock.

"Why didn't you tell us? Where are you staying?" My mom asked and I scratched the back of my neck.

"I didn't tell anyone cause I didn't wanna look like a failure to all of you, and I'm staying at Demi's in fact."

"At Demi's..." My dad whispered and I nodded. "That's cool son, we truly just want you to be happy so-"

"Okay okay, today the attention is mine guys, talk about this later." Joe said and we all laughed. "Gonna go check on Sophie."

"Is the baby gonna be born soon?" Demi asked him and he nodded.

"They said in about an hour so, we're really excited."

"Everything is gonna be perfect, I'm excited for you too." She said and he nodded with a smile before entering the room again.

The hall went silent again and I took a look at Demi beside me. She was looking at her hands and I could see the sun starting to rise in a far big window.

"Are you cold?" She glanced at me with a small smile and nodded shyly causing my heart to melt a little. "I told you to wear a jacket, or take one at least...just in case. Why do you always have to be so stubborn?"

"Yea, sorry...you were right. I'm okay tho, it's not that big of a deal." I raised my eyebrows and chuckled.

"You're lucky I'm here." I took off my jacket and gave it to her.

"Nick, keep it. You're gonna catch a cold."

"I'm wearing a hoodie and a t-shirt, you're wearing a top...I'm not discussing this with you. Just put it on."

"Okay...thank you." She said and out my jacket on before the door of the room opened widely and we saw Sophie screaming in pain but still smiling as they moved her to another room. "It seems like the baby wanna be born earlier than the expected."

We spent a few long minutes in silence until Joe walked out of the room with a big smile and his hands up.

"She's born." He said and we all stood up to congratulate him. He was in tears and obviously, we were too.

"Joe, I'm so so happy for you." Demi whispered to him beside me while they hugged and he caressed her head.

"I know you are, I'm glad you're here with me today. I would've never imagined you not here with me in a moment like this." She smiled at him and he chuckled. "I gotta see my family guys, but thank you for being here with me. The doctors said Sophie needs to rest cause she didn't sleep so they recommend not visitors right now but later today we'd be honored to have you here."

"Yes, don't worry son." My mom said and I glanced at Demi as she yawned.

"Uh, we're leaving...I'll be back in the evening." I told my parents and they nodded. "Demi?"

"Yes?" She asked me with sleepy eyes and I smiled.

"We're going home."

"Oh, okay." We greeted everyone and walked out of the hospital quickly as the sun started to lit the world.

Once in the car I turned the radio on with low volume and started driving. After driving for several minutes, I parked the car inside Demi's parking lot and looked to my side. She was sleeping on the passenger seat with her body facing me. It was one of the cutest scenes I've ever seen.

I spent some second looking at her and then, touched her cheek softly.

"Dem...Demi, we're home." She opened her eyes slowly and nodded at me. "Let's go inside so you can sleep in your bed."

"Yeah." She whispered we both got out of the car before entering the house. "I'll see you in some hours, have a nice rest." She told me in the hall of the rooms.

"You too, see you." She smiled slightly at me and closed the door of her bedroom leaving me still thinking of her.
