NICK'S P.O.V.:

I walked into the dinning room and frowned at Priyanka as she cried.

"Where's Demi and why are you crying?" I asked her and she stood up walking closer to me.

"She tells me a lot of horrible things! I'm glad she left Nick, it was horrible." She said and hugged me while crying. I raised my eyebrows, amazed with the way she acts whenever she wants to.

"Really? That's so bad. I'm glad she's gone too then." I told her and she nodded drying her tears. "Why don't you go to sleep babe? You look tired. I'll fix all this." I said gesturing to the table.

"Oh, you're so sweet babe." She told me and pecked my lips. "Goodnight." I nodded with a smile and watched her disappear from the dinning room.

"Damn." I whispered and grabbed my phone to send Demi a text.

Nick ~ I heard everything Priyanka said. I'm sorry for it...do you think we can meet up tomorrow or so? I just wanna talk.

After cleaning the dished, she answered to my text.

Demi ~ look, I think it's better if we take some time away from each other. I don't wanna give you problems with your wife. And she clearly doesn't like me, so I'm sorry...but I pass.

"Fuck." I groaned quietly and nodded my head. She had a right on not wanting to see me anytime soon.

That night I went to sleep with Priyanka and had to fake for a whole week that I was fine with her. The next Saturday, she flown to India in the morning and I felt relieved to be alone in my house.

"What can we do now dude? It's just the two of us for the weekend." I told my dog and he sat beside me. "You know what? I don't even wanna be here...would you mind if I leave you alone tonight? I wanna talk with a friend of mine." He stuck his tongue at me and I chuckled.

"Thanks good guy. You're the best, I knew you'd get me." I said and stood up to get ready to leave the house around 7 p.m.

I got into one of my cars and drove to Demi's house with some cheese burgers I bought on my way there.

"I hope you're home...and alone." I whispered while walking to her front door. I know I should've called or texted before going there, but she wouldn't reply to me. So I thought that was the only way of doing it.

I rang the doorbell and chowed down on my lip as I felt little snowflakes falling on my face.

"Who's...Nick." She said upon opening the door and I raised my eyebrows.

"Hey, please let me in. It's been a week, I gave you some time. Do you think we can talk?" She glanced to the bag in my hands.

"Mmm, what do you have there?" I smiled slightly.

"Cheese burgers. Do you want one?" I asked her and she rolled her eyes with a slight grin before opening the door for me to enter. "Yup, I knew this girls would work." I said and she chuckled.

"Don't make me regret letting you in."

"Okay sorry." We walked into her living room and I noticed her dogs sleeping. "They're way too calm. Did you do something to them?"
