First Week

DEMI P.O.V.: at first I wasn't sure of allowing Nick to live with me for some days. Of course after listening what that bitch did to him, I couldn't say no.

The first week was pretty random and nice. We would hang out until late night, watch movies, talk about silly things while eating ice cream...I mean, it was like a vacation.

Every morning we would leave to our respective studios and come back to have lunch together sometimes. Another days, one of us would stay out. In the afternoons we would hang out with friends and do our lives and every night we'd have dinner together.

It felt nice not to be alone in that big house anymore. Batman and Ella, of course, were happy to have Nick around again. But everything was like a camp.

"Demi." I heard Nick say from downstairs as I was drying my hair.

"What?" I asked.

"It's friday, do you wanna have some bought food tonight? I kinda feel like eating a burger or pizza." I smiled and bit my lip slightly. I've never had more fun while living with someone.

"Sure. I want a burger, you can have whatever you want."

"Okay, I'm paying and you won't change my opinion."

"Nick...we've talked about this."

"I'm living for free in your house. Stop doing this, I'm not poor yet." I busted out laughing and heard him laughing too.

"Fine, you can pay but just for tonight."

"Yes ma'am."

I finished drying my hair and did I in a bun before heading downstairs. I noticed there was music playing. He was listening to some kind of party remix. I chuckled to myself as I walked around the kitchen trying to find him.

I found him some seconds later dancing with a beer in one hand and Batman on his other arm. I covered my mouth not to laugh and recorded a short video of him dancing.

I busted out laughing after I did it and he turned around with a smile and slight red face.

"You weren't supposed to see us dancing. It was a secret party."

"A secret party? I see...what about Ella? You didn't invite her either."

"Oh we did, but she chose to take a nap...it was a better plan anyways." I laughed again and he left Batman on the floor before glancing to his beer. "Oh, I assumed you wouldn't mind me having a beer. Do you?"

"Nah, you can drink whatever you want. I'm actually good with people drinking around me."

"That's nice." I nodded and he walked to the microwave. "I saved our food there so it wouldn't freeze. But it arrived a few minutes ago."

"Oh okay. Take it to the living room and I'll take a glass and juice for me."

"Alright." He grabbed our food and walked to the living room while I watched the video I recorded of him. He looked really in his vibe. I smiled and sent it to him with the caption. "You guys were having such a good party. I'm disappointed you didn't invite me."

I heard an instant laugh from him and knew he saw it. I grabbed a glass with juice for me and headed to the living room.

"You wanted us to invite you to the party? I didn't think you liked to party anymore..." He said with an expression that made me realize he was serious about the last part.

"Nick, I'm a leo, of course I still like to party. I don't do it as often as I used to and sometimes people don't invite me to join them because they think that'd cause me a relapse."

"I didn't think that."

"I know. I was just saying."

"So...tomorrow's saturday, will you have a busy day and night?"

"Umm, I don't think so. Why?"

"I have a free day tomorrow. Maybe we could go party together."

"Us?" I asked with raised eyebrows.

"Yeah, we can tell some people more if you want."

"You know what? I don't wanna tell anyone else. Nobody has invited me to parties 'just because' since my overdose. That's why I just wanna go with you."

"Good choice. So, we're will we go?"

"Uh, I don't really know that many places anymore...but you could ask Joe, since his gonna have a baby I'm pretty sure he knows places not too crazy to go to."

"Nice, I'll talk to him and ask him."

"Awesome. Thanks."

"Awesome."

"The food is so good..." I said to fill the silence. He nodded and we ate silently for some minutes.

"Oh, I didn't tell you. I'm working in a new album with my brothers."

"Really?"

"Yes, we'll we've just started to think of ideas we want for the concept of the album...I still gotta do all the songwriting stuff, that takes a lot to me...but of course, you already know that." I chuckled and nodded.

"Well, the nice thing is that you are free to play the piano until 5 am if you want to. I don't mind it, and maybe...I could help you writing."

"You'd like us to write together?" He asked with surprise on his face and I nodded.

"Course."

"We'll do it then. But sadly, I don't know if I'll be able to give you credits on the album. You know Phil controls all that."

"Don't worry about it." I said with a shrug. "I wanna do it for the experience. Phil can eat my ass, I don't need a line in an album book saying 'I helped'. You and I will know we did it together, that's enough for me."

"What a sweet heart you've always had. Anyways, you deserve the credit for what you do. I'll try to give it to you if we work together. My brothers will want to give you what you deserve too...Phil can forget about us not giving you credit."

"It's not necessary, Nick."

"It is necessary, it's what you deserve for your work."
