A/N: This is seriously the worst written one shot ever but the plot is cute sorry.

Why did he love Miss Clara so much? She was beautiful, for one. Second, she was funny, cute, always clever and always what he needed. But why was it her that had snuck into his hearts? After Rose, he didn't think he could ever love again. All he could think about late at night, when she had gone home or was sleeping down the corridor, was her hair and how she was like a light. Bright, shimmering, shinning. She was breathtakingly beautiful.
And she was everything to him.
"What are you doing?" Clara asked when she walked into the console room. It was dimly lit and papers littered the floor.
The Doctor popped his spikey, brunette head from under the floor and grinned at her, "Trying to find something I lost."
Clara chuckled and crossed her arms before sitting cross legged in front of him. "What, your sanity?"
He just shrugged and ducked back down to look more below the floor. "I lost that a long time ago!" Clara laughed at his childishness.
"No, but seriously, what are you looking for?" Clara asked after The Doctor came back from under the floor to sit beside her.
The Doctor looked over at her and felt a blush sweep over his cheeks. Dammit, Doctor. "Uh, just this. For you." He handed her a small necklace with a gallifreyan symbol on the pendant.
Clara gasped and hugged him immediately. His arms surrounded her and covered her in his body heat. "Thank you!" she said after pulling away and putting the necklace around her neck. "What's it mean?"
"Uh, just a thing."
Clara raised her eyebrows, "What thing?"
"Well, I'd been meaning to tell you that...well, I love you. And that's what the necklace says. If you don't feel the same, its fine. But you should just know." he rambled. "Sorry, I should've just not said any--" Suddenly her lips were on his and her hands were in his hair. He grinned into the kiss and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"You stupid alien, of course I love you." Clara giggled and kissed him again.
