"Help!" Beastboy heard Raven call out to her as she struggled to swim amongst the waves. He heard her cough and sputter as the storm beat down her attempts with waves and rain. Beastboy tried to transform to swim to her faster but nothing worked. He saw her violet head get pulled under the waves for the last time as he dove down to catch up. His lungs burned as he scrambled lower into the icy water. He saw her lying on the rocky bottom of the ocean as the last gulp of air left his mouth. He grabbed her and tried to swim up but the water rushed into his lungs, burning inside his chest. He fought and sputtered but the only thing entering was more water. He looked over at the lifeless Raven in his arms as the world grew dark.

Beastboy woke up fighting for air in Raven's bed. It took a second for him to remember where he was but then he smelled the throw up left in the bowl on the nightstand and remembered his poor decision making as the hangover hit him like a truck. Just as he woke up, he heard his teammate arrive in the other room from their mission. He quickly laid back down and pretended to sleep right before Cyborg opened Raven's door to check on Beastboy. Beastboy could feel Cyborg staring into the dark room at Beastboy's turned back.

"How is our friend?" Starfire whispered as she walked up behind Cyborg.

"Not great, Star. Let's let him sleep." Cyborg said defeatedly as he shut the door. Starfire walked away as Cyborg stood behind the closed door deep in thought when suddenly, a sniffle broke his concentration. He opened the door quietly and saw Beastboy's body shaking in silent sobs. He let himself in and sat down on the edge of the bed. He laid his metal hand on his arm as Beastboy curled up into fetal position and let the painful sobs escape his body. Cyborg glanced up to see Nightwing in the doorway but didn't say a word.

Bumble Bee got out of bed feeling a little more like herself. She wrapped herself up in her thick black bathrobe to cover her swollen midsection and kicked on a pair of black slippers to stretch her legs. She walked over to Raven and silently observed the physical changes. The dark circles, the thinning figure, Raven looked as if she was withering away. She went back to her side of the hospital wing and bundled up Winston to walk with her. Winston was such a calm baby. He kept reaching at her face and gripping her chin as they walked down the hallway. She entered the room the stairwell that went up to the rooftop and inhaled the first fresh air she'd had in months. He sat down crossed legged with Winston in her lap, letting the salty are bring her energy. Staring out over the water, she watched Winston fuss with her bathrobe sleeve until he started to suck on the end. Her chest hurt since it was about time to feed him again but she sat there taking in the last few minutes of the view before she went back to mom duty.

The rest of the Titans had taken turns keeping an eye on Beastboy that night so the group was a little tired to say the least. Nightwing got back to his room to see Starfire who had fallen asleep waiting for him. It was the late morning but Nightwing was uncharacteristically dragging so he gently laid down next to her. Their relationship had been going slow, which was nice for both of them. They were keeping their time in accordance with Tamaranian engagement customs but not having sex was starting creep into Nightwing's mind. He rolled over trying not to think about how much he wanted her and let his fatigue take him away.

Cyborg was with a sleeping Beastboy in Raven's room as an idea struck him. He jostled Beastboy awake to shout, "Raven is more demon than you!" Confused, the groggy Beastboy sat up slowly, taking in what Cyborg just said. "I said, Raven is more demon that you!!!"

"Oh!!!" The connection clicked in Beastboy's brain. "The poison is a spell!" Beastboy got up and he hastily grabbed some spell books to begin searching with Cyborg.

Robin sat alone in his room, listening to old school grunge music. He was really lonely lately with Nightwing and Beastboy being busy with their issues. They hadn't really noticed or addressed how often Robin was out and about to try to cover up his isolation. He got up to go find entertainment.
