"Ntwana"
I say the minute she answers, we just left my parents house
"Sup chomzam, how was it? How does it feel to be a graduate?"
She asks and I chuckle
"It's feels normal, I'm here with Asante. She doesn't believe that you are thee Sandisiwe Gxaba who writes stories on facebook"
I say and she shoots me a look, Siwe chuckles
"I don't know what to say because this is me. Hi Asante"
She greets
"Hi, how are you?"
She asks shyly
"You sound so sweet, how are you with this idiot? I mean doesn't he get a little over his big head at times?"
Siwe jokes
"Wow, get the one girl I actually like and am falling for to dump me"
I say and they both laugh
"I'm just putting it out there, I hope she knows what she's in for. I'm waiting for those pictures Chomzethu"
She says and I roll my eyes
"I'll send them as soon as I get home. So when are you supposed to come this side again?"
I ask her
"Most probably during holidays but I'll keep you posted. Hopefully I'll get to meet the miss"
I chuckle
"Yeah hopefully, that's if she hasn't dumped me by then. Ntwana I just got to my place neh, lets talk tomorrow or so"
I say to her
"sho Mpintshi. Bye you guys and don't do anything I wouldn't do"
She says and I cut the call laughing
Today was a graduation celebration dinner at my parents house and then tomorrow will be the party where my parents have invited their friends and pretty much everyone who is who. It's a pity my best friend won't make it because I would have loved to have her there. Siwe is based in the Eastern Cape at the moment busy with her studies whilst trying to pursue her career in writing and so far it's been an great journey for her. I'm proud of her and I know that if she could be here, she would but with everything happening on her side she was unable to pull through. She has family in Joburg in Tembisa who she normally visits and stays with when she comes this side. Asante has heard about her a couple of times but they haven't met yet and I would love to have them meet, not for approval or anything like that but because they are both equally important to me. Siwe is good people and I don't doubt that she and Asante would get along.
We park the car and both get out.
"You and her seem really close"
She points out and I chuckle
"We are, she and I met at some art thing and we just clicked. We've been friends since. My family likes her and her family likes me"
I say as we walk up to my apartment
"Oh that's nice"
She says and I sense an underlying tone in her
"Jealous?"
I ask and she shrugs
"Should I be?"
She challenges and I sigh
"Nope, you have no reason to be. It's strictly friendship between us. Yes when I met her I wanted to smash and pass but she's always blew me off and now we good friends without any strings or whatsoever. She has a boyfriend she's serious with that side"
I explain and she nods
"Good to know I guess. You my first boyfriend Aaron and I don't think I want to be in a position where I will have to worry about your relationship with your female bestie"
She points out
"I understand and trust me Siwe will never be a problem in our relationship"
I assure her as we walk into the flat. When we get into the room and comes to stand in front of me gesturing I assist her to get out of the dress she was wearing. I run my hand on her upper arms slowly and then plant a kiss on her shoulder lowering the zip of her dress which drops to the floor leaving her in nothing but her sexy black lingerie. I take a deep breath as I smell her hair removing the pins holding it together
"You beautiful Asante"
I whisper near her ear and she shivers at the sound of my voice. I won't lie seeing her like this always makes me react down there. I've never starved this long before
"thank you"
She says shyly with a smile, I kiss her neck
"you so sexy Asante"
I compliment and I don't know what the hell happens but she moves away from me
"Don't touch me"
She shouts backing away from me covering her body with her hands as if I've done something to her. I have never seen her react this way before and if someone heard her and seen her in this terrified state she is in they would assume I did something to her
"Snowflake did I do something wrong?"
I ask softly worried about her, she's shivering and moving back against the mirror behind her. I take a step closer and she holds out her hand
"Please don't come any closer"
She pleads and I stop instantly not moving an inch, she looks terrified of me and I don't understand what I did or why she's acting the way she is. As far as I am concerned all I did was complement her
"Asante what's going on?"
I ask unable to hide the concern in my eyes, She slides down with her back against the mirror and pulls her knees up and folds her arms over her knees and buries her head in her arms. I walk closer to her worried and concerned about her, did I do something to trigger a painful memory? Is it me? I'm so confused and so concerned about her. I touch her shoulder lightly and she flinches at my touch
"Asante please talk to me"
I plead in a low and gentle voice but she just sobs scaring me even more. I don't understand where we went wrong because it's not my first time touching her or shooting her a compliment, I don't know what happened this time around
"I'm calling mom"
I say because I'm hoping she will know what's going on since she's a psychologist. I straighten and then move away from her to stand by the window and turn to look at Asante who is shivering in one position not moving an inch
"Hey baby, I'm assuming you just got to your place?"
Mom asks
"Mom something is wrong with Asante"
I say unable to hide the worry and fear in my voice
"Aaron honey what's going on?"
She asks with concern
"Mom please just come to my place now, I don't know what happened"
I report, I see Asante block her ears with tears rolling down her cheeks
"Stop. Please"
She cries out pleading and begging for whoever she is imagining right now to stop
"Asante"
I call out to her walking over to her, I crouch in front of her
"It's me. Nobody is going to hurt you"
I say but she scoots back with nowhere to move back to, I retract my hand
"I'll never hurt you Snowflake. Please let me help you"
I plead to her with so much concern, I've even ended the call now
"I will never hurt you"
