Chapter 41

Mom dismisses me wanting to have a chat with Asante, don't know what that's about but I do worry for her because as much as my mother likes her and understands but she doesn't play where her children are concerned so yeah, I'm worried a little for her but she'll survive.

I meet Sandy outside together with Lumi and they playing around, nothing new there. I'm glad she's moved this side permanently.

"Stupid, hey Squash"

I say hitting the back of Lumi's head and Sandy laughs

"told you you was stupid. How are you squash? Nervous?"

She asks and I nod

"Like you have no idea"

I say and Lumi looks at us

"Nervous? Why?"

Lumi asks cluelessly

"You will see all in good time, for now rest will you?! Thanda gqith indaba"

She teases and he rolls his eyes at her

"I swear you two once slept together or you want to"

I say and they look at each other laugh

"For one he's young, secondly Vela and I have a relationship going on now and lastly eeeuw!!!"

Sandy says and I laugh at them while Lumi frowns

"Ouch! I am handsome and I got enough pipe to pipe you down"

He says and Sandy laughs at him and roughs his head

"Yeah sure kid. I will excuse myself, thank you very much"

She says and walks away leaving me laughing at Lumi

"That was just rude"

He says and I laugh

"Sorry"

I say with a shrug of shoulders and he just looks at me

"Again, what are you all nervous about?"

He asks

"You'll see with time, relax man"

I say and we continue chatting until I see Sandy walking with Asante stopping every now and then, I make my way over to the two of them. I borrow Snowflake and Sandy lets me. I take her hand and lead us to the other side of the garden that doesn't have any people because I know how she gets around people.

"And then?"

She asks frowning and looking at me suspiciously. I place my hands on her cheeks and squeeze then pull her to me and kiss her breathlessly, a nice slow passionate kiss dipping my tongue inside her mouth every now and then teasingly and she allows me to lead, I break the kiss but don't let go of her face

"I missed you"

I say and her cheeks turn pink and hot, she's so beautiful when she blushes. I have never in my life had a crush on someone I was dating, at least not this long but every minute spent with this woman is amazing and she makes me fall for her effortlessly. These past five months have been the best time she and I have ever spent together and I have no regrets and instead have made me certain that she is the woman I want to be with forever

"I missed you too"

She says and I smile and remove my hands from her face and lead her to sit down on a bench and then I go down on one knee, she frowns looking at me

"What are you doing?"

She asks and I search my pockets for the box and find it then pull it out and open it.
