"Stop! Stop stop stop stop"
Azure says switching off the beat. I let out a sigh
"Let's take a break shall we"
He suggests and I get out of the singing booth and go to him
"You not here, what's going on?"
He asks as I throw myself on the couch
"I just have a lot on my mind. Let's hear what we got"
I say and he plays the song i was trying to record and listening to it now, i really done fuxked it up
"Aaron, i know you and this is not you. Whatever is on your plate or on your mind right now. You need to deal with it and get it over with because this is not you!"
He says and I nod letting out a sigh. I'm about to respond when my phone rings
"Hello?"
I answer
"The fuck did I just read on TMZ? What's this story about you and drugs?"
She asks, it's my boss
"What? What story?"
I ask her confused
"An article has been published about you Aaron saying you've been using and that you being in SA now is not some visit but you in rehab to sober up. Apparently you were also involved in a threesome and some orgy parties. This is not good for your image and the record label!"
She says angrily I can even feel her coming out steam from her mouth and her ears.
"That's bullshit. You know me, I protect my rep at all costs. If i didn't fuck it up while in SA why would I screw it over that side? Whoever is spreading such about me only did it to try mess up my image!"
I argue
"Look, we pay you a lot of money for you to protect your rep and image and in so doing you keep the company name clean! We'll find a way to fix this but in the meantime, lay low. Our publicist will handle it"
She says
"I dont want to hear such things about you again. I like you kid, but next time I wont be so nice about this"
She says
"I swear to you. I have never touched drugs in my life, heck I dont even smoke weed. Alcohol, yes but I swear to you. I would never jeopardize my career like that"
I plead and she let's out a breath
"We'll get to the bottom of this and the truth will come out"
She says and then drops the call
"What's going on?"
Azure asks, I check my emails and I've been forwarded the email and I have a dozen missed calls. I hand my phone to him
"Somebody leaked shit about me and its ruining my rep"
I say defeated
"What the fuck Aaron?"
He says handing me my phone
"Is this why your head hasnt been here? You move to that side and suddenly you do drugs?"
I chuckle at his accusations
"I'm as shocked as you are. Someone out there is trying to fuck up my reputation. Azure you know me, I am married to the music. I would never put my work on the line like that!"
I argue, he looks at me for a while
"I don't know what to think Aaron! You always focused and today, I don't know what's up with you!"
I let out a sigh and sit back down
"3 months ago I met these girls, one I work with and the other was a stranger we picked up at the club. We had a threesome"
He gasps in shock
"What?"
He exclaims in shock and I nod
"Yeah. The next day we were all supposed to go on with our lives until Kia started being a little problematic"
He frowns
"By that I mean she would show up at my place unannounced, she would do a lot to try spend time with me. At first I thought it was nothing since you know women and their sexual libido."
He nods
"I was sleeping with both of them and Mia knew. We would have threesome every now and then but it was never anything major either than Kia not getting the memo of how fuck buddies work"
He nods still attentive
"Today I went to visit Asante, the girl I was dating"
He nods
"I remember her, curly haired beauty you always posted?"
He asks and I nod
"I went to see her today and we kissed. I never stopped loving her, i never got over her and seeing her today, kissing her again was just great"
He nods
"On my way here i get a call from Mia telling me she caught feels. I'm like how, and she tells me with how well i was treating her and all, she thought that maybe i was about her too"
He chuckles
"Are you about her?"
I frown and shake my head no
"I mean yeah sure she gives a mean blowjob and she rides me like a pornstar and all but that's not enough to make me fall for her. My heart is still with Asante, she has me by the balls and nobody else. It's not always about the sex and I cant help being the way I am all because we fuck buddies"
He laughs at me so much that I end up laughing too
"Who knew your dick game made the ladies a bit cray-cray?"
He teases and I roll my eyes
"So what are you going to do? I mean you have 2 women at your disposal and here you are chasing after the one who doesnt want you. Would it kill you to kick it with one of the other 2? You already fuvking so surely feelings cant possibly be that hard"
He suggests and I squint my eyes confused
"You young Aaron and your career is just taking off. You cant keep chasing after Asante for the rest of your life. At some point you have to move on with your life. This Asante is living her best life without you and she ain't worried about you one little bit so why hold yourself back at a shot of love huh?"
He asks and I shrug
"Think about it. You have enough time to think about this before you leave. Now go home and take a break from the music and come back when your head is less heavier"
He suggests patting my knee. I stand up and thank him then head on home. I walk in as my brother walks in, hes high as usual
"The way you smoke weed, one would swear you not loved enough at home"
He laughs at me
"Hello to you too Aaron. Hows your day been?"
He asks and I shake my head
"If you dont quit this thing you'll be an addict and before you know it you stuck in rehab"
He laughs
"Stop being dramatic, geez! I only smoke for the fun of it bro, relax"
He says walking away from me, he staggers as he's about to climb the first stair
"Songezo are you ok?"
I ask rushing to him, he hits my hand away
"Relax Aaron, I'm fine"
He says and then he walks up the stairs headed to his room. I watch him as he makes his way up and I cant help worry about it. I walk to the lounge and i find the tv playing by itself, it's an old hockey match. I'm assuming Sienna is somewhere close by. I make my way to the kitchen and I find her chatting with Nami. I greet both of them
"Nami may I ask you something?"
She frowns
"Its nothing heavy, it's about Songezo"
She nods
"Anything Mr Aaron"
She says
"Is my brother smoking anything else aside from weed? I mean have you seen something else while cleaning his room?"
I ask and she looks down
"Nami please, I understand privacy and all but this is Songezo we are talking about. I'm worried about him"
She sighs and slips her hand into her uniform and comes out with a small plastic bag with white substance
"Is that coke?"
Si asks
"I found this in his clothes this morning. Mr Aaron I dont want to get into trouble here"
She says handing me the bag
"Thank you Nami. I'll handle it"
