We walk up the stairs and as we reach the top I begin to panic. I haven't been here since I shot that man. I glance at the spot where his body laid, but there's no evidence of it ever existing. He carries our bags and leads me to a room at the very end of the hall. He opens the door and it's set up like a bedroom with a bathroom off to the side. I walk inside and he locks the door.

"What's this?" I ask. He sets our bags down.

"This was my childhood bedroom. I had someone come redo it," he says.

"You lived here?" I ask.

"Yeah, when my father ran it, he refused to leave so we lived here full time. I decided to get a place though when I took over. I didn't want to be here all the time. I wanted somewhere else to go," he explains. I nod in understanding.

"It's nice," I say. I sit on the edge of the bed. He walks over to me and crouches down in front of me.

"Talk to me," he mumbles.

"When's it gonna end? When can we just be happy?" I ask sadly.

"I don't know," he sighs.

"What if he finds me? What if he finds you?" I question. He takes my hand.

"He can't. Even if he did, he can't make it through those gates. You're safe here. I'm not gonna let anyone touch you," he says confidently. I lean down and kiss his lips.

"Thank you," I mumble. He stands and hands me my bag so I can change. I take off my jeans as he takes his shirt off. He tosses it on the bed before removing his jeans. I dig through my bag. I groan as I forgot shorts or sweat pants. I only have jeans.

"What?" He questions.

"I don't have pants to sleep in," I say.

"Wear my shirt," he says. I look up.

"I mean it'll be long enough on you that you won't need pants. Here, I'll get you a clean one," he says.

"No, I'll use this one," I say as I pick up the shirt off the bed and slide it on over my head. It comes down mid thigh. The smell of his cologne fills my nostrils. He smirks.

"What?" I question.

"You look hot," he says with a laugh. I smile before sitting on the bed. He sees my nervousness and walks over to me.

"You're stressing," he mumbles. I glance at him.

"You're safe," he says soothingly. I lay my head on his shoulder as his arm wraps around my back.

"I want to take you, take you far away," I chuckle.

"I mean you can take me other ways too," he smirks. I back hand his chest softly and blush slightly.

"God Terrell," I laugh.

"We gotta make the best out of these situations," he smiles. His hands move to my shoulder and massages them roughly. I throw my head back in pleasure.

"Oh do we?" I question.

"Yes, because if we didn't, then we would go insane," he mumbles as he moves his hands down my back.

"You're so tense," he mumbles in my ear. He turns me around and forces me on my stomach. His hands massage the kinks in my back. I groan softly and I hear him chuckle. His hands trail down and lifts the shirt I'm wearing. He slowly loops his fingers around the band of my underwear and pulls them down my body. My stomach fills with anticipation. He grips my legs and flips me onto my back quickly.

He lifts the shirt over my head and I lift my arms. I try to slip my hands out of the sleeves but he doesn't let me. I give him a confused look before he ties the shirt around my biceps forcing my arms to stay above my head. He smirks down at me, amusement clear on his face. I blush as my whole body is exposed to him and there's nothing I can do about it.

"Oh god," I breathe with a slight laugh. He smiles.

"What's the matter?" He asks as his hand trails down my stomach. I squeeze my thighs together, aching for something, anything.

"Terrell, please," I breathe. I squirm slightly and that's all he needs to ease all my stress and worries.

Every piece of me prays that we will catch this guy. Prays that this won't end badly. Terrell will do anything to keep my safe but I'd do even more to keep him safe, and that's what makes us so dangerous.
