We just can't get along here in our workplace...
Kapag nasa labas naman, okay siya.
Mas strict ata ang rules niya sa opisina compare sa akin.
"Will you stop bringing woman here? Seriously? Should I do the honor booking you to an hotel every damn time she goes here? I'm your right hand anyway."
Kanina pa ako tahimik, siya naman salita ng salita tungkol sa naabutan niya kahapon, not my fault when Yeri throw herself at me. I'm just doing her a favor. Yeri didn't even touched me there.
At isang beses lang iyon nangyare out of three times Yeri visits. Olie just assume we're doing sinful things as Yeri visits here. Nakakamatay talaga ang maling akala.
"Just clear our schedule for three days." I waved her off. She's being grumpy ever since I saw her talking to someone over the phone.
"Oh yeah I forgot, kailan ba tayo aalis? It's a beach party diba?"
"A beach wedding, sa susunod na araw."
"Ahh oo nga pala, what to wear?"
"Don't worry about it." I bore my gaze on her, checking her out. She's wearing a formal office attire today, mukang mas mahal pa sa sweldo niya ang suot niya, this girl really.
"Are you okay these days? Do you have a problem?" I inquired, she doesn't have to answer kung ayaw niya, I'm just a concern citizen.
Olie frowns. "Ano sa tingin mo?"
"Not in the mood?"
"I'm fine."
I nodded, bumalik na rin kaagad sa opisina ko. The day after tomorrow sounds good — ang hindi ko nga lang alam kung bakit ang bilis naman ata ng araw? Yeri already left to go on an adventure again, I guess we'll see each other next month.
Olie becomes grumpy as ever.
"Fuck you Rue! Ang bagal mo kumilos tapos mag-co-commute pala tayo!" Napairap ako sa kawalan, e' sa hindi ko alam ang papunta doon at ayokong magmaneho ng sobrang layo.
"I'll consider fucking you, for now let's go."
She glared at me, hindi na ito makuha sa biro, Asia's Next Top ang datingan, what the fuck really happened? I'm sure her attitude has something to do with that phone call.
Mabuti at nakasakay kaagad kami ng bus papuntang DTC.
North have the best beaches.
"Samay bintana ako uupo," she voiced, nauuna kasi akong maglakad palapit sa bus.
Umiling ako. "No, duon nga ako pu-pwesto eh."
"Gusto ko samay bintana."
"First come first serve." Dumila pa ako bago sumampa sa bus, we ended up being separated because we both like to be by the window. The truth is hindi ako sanay mag-commute, I might get dizzy.
Napatingin ako sa babaeng dumaan dito, I don't actually care about her, I'm just contemplating if she ever gonna sit beside me kasi halatang naghahanap ito ng mauupuan. She halted by seeing me, napatingin pa ito sa bakanteng upuan bago lagpasan ang pwesto ko. I sigh in relief. I don't like to sit beside a stranger.
Gano'n nalang tuloy ang gulat ko ng may umupo sa tabi ko. The girl. Bakit bumalik!
I turned my gaze to her, looking as if I want her to just disappear, she seem younger than me, I think around Olie's age or her younger sister's.
Her cheeks turned beed red now.
Napatingin naman ako kay Olie na nakangisi. Someone also walked and asked her if pwedeng umupo sa bakanteng upuan na katabi niya but she shook her head. "Babayaran ko po."
