"Aga mo."

Hindi ko inalis ang tingin ko sa binabasang newspaper, alam ko naman kaagad na si Olie 'yon.

Wala ako sa mood magsalita kaya nanatili akong tahimik na nagbabasa.

"You didn't sleep?"

"I did."

"How many hours?"

Pinasadahan ko ito ng tingin, nakakunot ang noo nito, she does that when she's observing me, nahuhuli ko ito minsan.

"Two."

Napailing nalang ito.

"You have a meeting in fifteen."

Agad itong bumalik sa desk niya, it was weird of her na hindi ako kulitin dahil hindi nga ako nakatulog, do I really looked bad today na hindi niya maisip na guluhin ako? Nevertheless, it's a good thing.

And what the fuck.

Pagkalabas ko sa conference mula sa pinaka-unang scheduled meeting ko ay naging sunud-sunod ang meetings, I had to keep myself awake all throughout the scheduled meeting kahit antok na antok ako, damn. I wanted to ask Olie about it but some of my employees are walking beside me while citing their concerns, I just don't have time to question her anymore.

Ba't puro ako? Wala ba 'yung ibang analyst? Team head? Si Letty na COO? Na panay ang tawag sa akin these past few days?

"You still have meeting in ten." Napatango nalang ako sa kaniya.

Maybe they just really need my approvals, hindi ko naman pinapa-rush so I'm telling them to relax. I need to relax too. Hindi pamandin naman ako nakainom ng kape.

We even had a lunch meeting, ang tindi ng pagkaka-ayos nang schedule ko kaya hindi ko mapigilang hingin ang presensya ni Olie sa opisina ko after ng meeting.

"You, in my office." Pinauna ko na ito dahil may hinahabol ang isang representative ng finance.

It was a short talk lang naman kaya mabilis akong nakasunod sa office.

I brushed my hair as I enter. This woman still have a nerve to sit on my swivel chair.

"What was that?" I asked calmly.

"What?"

I still have for like three strings of patience until she could finally get into my nerves so she better give me an acceptable reason.

"Give me my schedule for today."

"Uh 'yun na ang huling meeting mo for today."

I checked my watch and it's only half past one.

"What about my original schedule?" I clenched my jaw. She just rigged my schedule for Pete's sake! "Please, don't do that again especially when I lack sleep, distribute it evenly, I have the whole day anyway."

She shrugged. "Okay."

"Thank you."

She nodded and left the room. She's acting really weird, may nagawa ba ako?

Nevermind, wala naman.

Natahimik nanaman ako mag-isa sa loob, the silence is pulling me, bigla akong inantok dahil na rin sa pagod at kakulangan sa tulog. I removed the papers under my desk then rest my head sa mesa, I could see the other commercial buildings, tanging namayani lang sa paligid ay ang tunog ng aircon ko.

That's when I realized why Olie rigged my schedule, I smiled, she intentionally pushed me to tire myself up so I could rest right after.

And I did. Nakatulog ako.
