Persia 'Percy' Jackson. A well known name through the mythological world. The 'daughter' of Poseidon, even though she was just blessed, and kind of adopted, by said god.
But what most people don't know is that she was part of The Umbrella Academy: a group of children with 'extraordinary abilities'. Just like her 'siblings' didn't know about her saving Olympus, twice. Well, as far as she knows, that is.
Since she was five, she went to the Academy at the beginning of fall, and returned to her mom at the beginning of summer. She grew up with the Hargreeves, therefore they're kinda her siblings too.
That's her life until the summer before their 12th birthday.
Near her house, lived the one she considers her best friend, Grover Underwood. In that summer lots of things happened: she was attacked by some sort of... thing while she was walking on the street; her neighbor, Mr. Brunner, a middle-aged guy in a motorized wheelchair, ended up saving her with a pen, her mom ended up being kidnaped by Hades himself and... well, you know the rest.
After the war with Gaea, the 6, since they still thought that Leo was dead, were offered the blessings of the 12th Olympians. Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank and Annabeth accepted, Percy didn't. "The mortals know I have water powers, if I return with new powers out of nowhere, they'd become suspicious" that's what she said after she declined their offer.
Her and Annabeth were a couple for some time, but, with work and other extremely hurtful stuff, they ended up being in different parts of the world, leading to their relationship ending.
At 18 she moved out permanently from the Academy and from her mom's house, living in New Rome for the four years of college and then returning to New York to work in an aquarium.
She wanted to believe that her life was normal, that she was normal, even though the trauma and nightmares never left...
And she succed to do so to an extent...
Until Sir Reginald Hargreeves died.
Percy was chilling in her living room after work, running through channels until said man's photo came into her view.
She knew. She knew that her little bubble of normality was going to explode. But she was ready. At least she hoped so.
