peace of mind

     I honestly don't feel like I have ever fit in with people my age. Not everyone, but most of the people my age seem like they literally have no sense of educated knowledge amongst politics or movements, rather it be the black lives matter movement, racism, homophobia and the lgbtq+ rights, etc. To me it just seems like all they care about is sex, drugs, partying, drinking, and being arrogant, ignorant, and  uneducated. I just wish that people were kind to one another and realized that there is so much more to life than partying, getting drunk and high all the time, fighting, and having sex. I feel like I have been told a lot in my life that I'm a young person, with a more mature soul if that makes sense.

On another note, with the presidential election going on right now, I just want everyone to have their equal rights. It's a difficult position to be in with voting for a candidate when you really aren't for either one of them.

     No matter who gets president, all I truly want is for our country to come together and to be united as one country. We all deserve the same granted equality and rights. HUMAN RIGHTS. LGBTQ+ members should be able to love whoever they want to love without a fear of showing that publicly or without the fear of being judged, disowned, or unsupported for being who they are. People of color deserve just as much equal rights as all of us white people do as well and I will forever stand by that. 

     Pedophiles are disgusting and will not ever be claimed as a part of the lgbtq+ community and won't ever be supported. If DOGS get put down just for biting someone or for jumping up on someone, then the nasty and disgusting excuses for humans that are pedophiles and think that it is okay to sexually harass or assault minors or ANYONE for that matter should be getting the same treatment. People should NOT have to be afraid to walk outside every day of their lives because of the society that we have today and how absolutely messed up the people OF the society are. WE NEED A BETTER SOCIETY AS A WHOLE. Parents should not have to fear for their kids to go outside and play or to go hang out at the mall with their friends.

No matter who wins, I believe that we need to unite as one and fight for our rights. There is such a huge divide within the country right now. We need to find love for our country and find solutions TOGETHER.

When I have kids one day in the future maybe, I will raise them to respect all religions, beliefs/opinions, genders, and races. They will learn that there will come MANY days where they will disagree with people, but that is OKAY because everyone has different viewpoints.

Right now I think that people of each different party think that it either has to be their way of beliefs or no way at all and heaven forbid if someone believes in something different than what they believe in. It seems like people so heavily dedicate their beliefs to their political party's beliefs. This country really just needs to find peace within things together. I pray that whoever may be the best candidate for the country may win and that we as a country can find a common ground and unite with each other and learn to respect each others beliefs. 

     I completely understand that everyone has different belief systems and there are different religions and such. People believe in many different things. No one person thinks exactly the same. I think that it's definitely super important to stand for what you believe in but don't disregard or invalidate other people's feelings or beliefs. WE ARE ALL VALID. 

Everyone needs to learn to respect one another. Feel however you wish to feel about things, but respect others as well who don't have the same feelings or beliefs as you.

     I definitely know that everyone is going to have their different opinions on things such as abortion. But when it comes to things such as people being TOUCHED without their consent and people thinking that it is OKAY, that's where I draw the line with respecting peoples opinions. Racial slurs are another thing I will not stand for or tolerate. Sexism seems to be out of hand as well. Plus people being against same sex marriages or supporting the lgbtq+ community, that is something that I feel so deeply about as well.

There are people very close to me that have literally said that they would beat my ass and disown me if I was to ever be anything other than straight and they were to find out about it. The thought of that absolutely shatters my heart that I wouldn't ever be able to come out to them if I was to ever decide that I was another sexuality that isn't straight because they would beat my ass and disown me.

I just think that you are who you are and others either accept it and support you or they don't and to those who DON'T accept or support you for who you are? SCREW THEM. You don't need people like that in your life.
