You lost yourself in the process of trying so hard not to lose someone else. You became someone who continued letting yourself be mistreated and made it a habit of just saying that you're used to it. You became this person who was always being underappreciated or undervalued and kept telling yourself that it was okay. You kept letting yourself be put last by other people and you started putting yourself last too because you didn't think it was a big deal. You were taken for granted and stayed unhappy, but always told people that everything was fine even though it wasn't true.
What you should understand is that NO ONE is worth being miserable for at the expense of your own happiness. Nobody is worth torturing yourself just to make them happy. Maybe losing them will be the only way for you to find yourself again. As much as it would absolutely suck for that to be the truth, they're the main thing in the way of you finding yourself as well as the ONLY reason that you've lost yourself to begin with.
