Say you like somebody and someone makes the snarky comment "ew you LIKE him?"
Does that remark bother you as much as it bothers me? Do you find it nearly as disrespectful as I do?
I absolutely can NOT stand for someone to make that remark to me or to ANYONE for that matter. It is extremely rude and offensive to both the person you are speaking TO and the person you are speaking ABOUT.
It should not matter if that person isn't the most attractive human alive to you and you don't find them to be the cutest person ever. They do not have to be the cutest or most attractive person to everyone else.
As long as you like them for THEM and not what you can get from that person, then nothing else really matters too much.
Nobody else has to see that person in the same perspective as you and most of the time they WON'T see them from your point of view. Nobody else's opinion should matter to you as long as you think that they are perfect the way they are.
