I Saved Why Don't We

Vacation

Recap: 

Me: Wow so you all are stressed out.

The Guys: Yeah. 

Me: Well how does a vacation sound?

The Guys: We can't. We have to talk to our manager if we wanted to do that. 

Me: You guys better start hugging me because I already did that and your manager agrees. You all need a break and is letting you all go on a vacation. I already bought a ticket for Daniel to go to Portland. It's supposed to be a surprise but considering you guys some cheering up I told you. 

The guys all hugged me. Then went to Taco Bell for some lunch. Gosh it's already that time. I get a smoothie and leave the mall. 

Then I call Daniel.

Daniel: Hello. 

Me: Hey it's Mary. 

Daniel: Hey are you having a good day. 

Me: Yeah in fact I just saw your boys at the mall. They said you were stressed out and quiet today. 

Daniel: ....

Me: Anyway I have surprise for you. So meet me at the park I took you to on our date. 

Daniel: Okay. 

I get to the park and drink my smoothie. Then I see Daniel's car park a couple spaces away from mine. We both get out of the car and walk towards each other. I smile and he gives me a weak smile. I go up to him and hug him. He hug back immediately. I rub his back for a moment then split from the hug. 

Me: I wanted you to come here to talk to me then I'll give you your surprise. 

Daniel: I don't know what you mean. 

Me: Well you've been acting stressed out to the boys. I'm not trying to pry and if you don't want to tell me you don't have to but are you okay. 

Daniel: Yeah I'm just stressed out and want to have some time to think. 

I understand him completely. So I nod in understanding. Then I smile. 

Me: So you do want a place to think and relax. 

Daniel: Yeah but I already have that place remember. 

Me: I mean a place you don't go to often. 

Daniel: Yeah I guess what did you have in mine. 

Me: Daniel, I don't know how your going to feel about this but I got a plane ticket to Portland so you can take a vacation. 

Daniel: What! ( smiles like crazy )

Me: I went to your manager and he agrees you guys need a break. So all the boys are going on their own personal vacation.  I'm sorry I should have asked you if you wanted to go to Portland. But I just bought a ticket for you so you can get away from the stress and relax. 

Daniel: R U kidding me? ( suspicious look )

Me: Daniel I promise I wouldn't lie to you. 

Daniel: I'm going to Portland my favorite home in the world. None are like it. 

Me: I know that's why I did this. 

Daniel: Thank you! So much! 

Me: Daniel you already thanked me by smiling. I'm going to give you your ticket and let you go so you can pack. 

Daniel: Well are you coming?

Me: No. I did this for you to get some personal space from everyone including me. 

Daniel: But...

Me:  already told you go do what you need to do. Relax and have fun. Get away from the stress. 

I hand him his ticket and start to walk away when someone grabs my wrist. I turn around to find Daniel looking at me with such gratitude I hugged him. 

Me: I'm going to miss you but you need this. Now go before your plane takes off without you. 

I gave him 4 hours to pack before his flight. But then I let go of him and went into my car. I left with a small smile on my face. I'm glad Daniel wasn't mad at me. 

Daniel's P.O.V. 

I got to the house and took a shower. I packed everything I would need then went down stairs to rest. All the boys were packing for their own vacay. But I was still in awe at the amount of kindness in Mary's heart. For her to do this for us without getting anything in return was so kind. I'm surly blessed. And bless Mary too. I finally got on my plane and took off for Portland. I couldn't help but marvel at my old home with all these good memories that came with it. I went to the bridge and enjoyed all the sights of my home. I'm a Portland boy at heart. I went to a hotel and got a room. Then I started wondering what Mary's doing? So I call her. 

Mary: Hello.

Me: Hey thank you I really needed this. 

Mary: Oh, hey Daniel. I'm glad you're having a good time but don't spend too much time talking to me. Enjoy your time because it will come quickly. 

Me: How can I not want to talk to an amazing girl who I love. 

Mary: ..... You love me?

Me: Yes. What is there not to love. You've got everything that a guy would want. 

Mary: Your so wrong. 

Me: No I'm not. 

Mary: Your making me blush. Knock it off. 

Me: There's nothing wrong with you. 

Mary: Nobody is perfect including me. I'm so far from perfect. 

Me: I'm farther. 

Mary: You wish, your so close that you can see the light. 

Me: Right! ( sarcastic )

Mary: I'm going to let you go. Go have fun and quit talking to me. This is supposed to be your time to yourself. Not you and me time. Bye, have fun. 

She hung up. She cares to much. I would want at least a little time talking to her than none at all. Well it's getting late so I'm gonna hit the hay. First day of vacation is done.
