"Hitoshi, where are we going?" You asked him. He pulled you down as he sat down in the shade of a building. You sat by him.
"Just wanted to get away from all my classmates. But you know, I'm happy to be with them at the same time. Happy to be part of the hero course with you." He smiled. You did not know what to say in response. You shivered as a cold wind blew. Even though it was a warm day, you were in the shade so it was kind of cold. Also, you were used to having fur.
He must have noticed your slight tremble. "Want to use my jacket?" He offered.
"No, I'm fine. How about you give me your phone number instead?" Real smooth. That was terrible. In your mind, you slapped yourself on the face. It did not at all sound as good as it did in your head. In the end, you still got your goal. You exchanged phone numbers and went back inside. By the time you were back at your dorm, you had forgotten that Aizawa was there. He was sleeping on your bed. You sighed, and unpacked the rest of your stuff. You got out your phone, and saw that there was a ton of texts from Hitoshi. You texted each other for awhile, and you almost dropped your phone in surprise when Aizawa woke up, letting out an enormous yawn. He seemed confused as to why he was in your dorm.
A few students crowded around, realizing the teacher was nearby., and could answer their questions about the transfer. "Well, you know, Mineta sucked and Shinsou won the festival, so I let him have the spot in class." He walked out of the room. Every day he seemed weirder. Hitoshi kept texting you and you texting him until it was dark.
Someone knocked on the door, very late. You put the phone down. Surprise surprise, it was Mina. She was great, but you do not know if you could bear living with her. "April fool's!"
She touched your hair and got goo all over you. "Mina! What! Why?" She just snickered and left. Was this a prank? Unlike most of Mina's acid, this was not acidic. It was just... goopy. You tried getting it out, but to no avail. Curses Mina! You turned into a cat and tried licking it off. It was so nasty, you had a hairball. Oh well. You curled up, hoping that when you woke up and it dried, it would come off much easier.
You stretched. There was nasty gunk all over your body. You were about to lick it, but the smell made you not. You padded through the hallway. There was loud noises coming from one direction. You followed them. There was a bunch of teenager humans in one room, being loud. You left them alone. Instead, you padded through the quiet hallways. You were startled when you saw that someone was in front of you, lurking in the dark. Cat eyes can always see things in the dark. The figure put out a hand, and you sniffed it. The purple haired human seemed friendly. You rubbed against it. "Let's get you hidden away before a teacher kicks you out, cat." He picked you up and took you into another room. He smelled good, like happiness. You trusted him.
He sat you down in a white place. There were silver parts to it too. You let out a friendly "Mrfow" to him. He looked sadly down at you.
"This is for your own good. Trust me." He touched the metal part of the white thing, and the white thing started filling up with water. You hissed and tried going to the opposite end of the white thing. You were going to drown! For about three seconds you were dry, but the water got to your paws. You let out a sad yowl.
"Shh shh you will get in trouble if you make sounds like that. Quiet." He put his big hands around you and dragged you near the water gently. You yowled again and scratched his arm. He looked so sad, and you felt guilty. Even though he was making you touch water, something that could drown you, he seemed to hold no malice towards you. Blood welled up on his arm. "It's ok, I'm used to it." The sadness in his voice made you stop struggling against him. His hands went up and down your body, dousing it in water. The sticky stuff on your fur started melting off. So that's what he was doing. He was helping you, not trying to drown you. You started purring. The boy smiled. When all the sticky stuff was gone off your fur, he dried your coat off. You curled up on his chest. He was nice and warm. You purred and purred, rubbing against him. He pet you. He took out a small rectangle that let out a faint bit of light. "(Y/N) hasn't texted me for awhile, I wonder what happened." He stroked you a little bit, then there was a faint noise from the hallway from a man. "Lights out! Lights out! Has anyone seen (Y/N)?"
You were shocked to find that you were flush against Hitoshi's chest, but even more shocked to find the gunk on your back was gone. You were a little damp, like long wet hair an hour after a shower. What just transpired for you to be in this situation? Hitoshi was staring at the door, as if alarmed by what someone had said. His phone said he was texting 'Kitty' with hearts around the name. You paused your panicking. Oh. So he already had someone.
But you did not have time to think about that. You heard Aizawa's voice from in the hallway. If you did not get out of here quickly, and if someone found you in another student's room, you could get into trouble. Since Hitoshi did not know about your quirk, it would be too much of a shock to turn into a human, or start talking. Sensei would understand the situation, and if you were lucky, Hitoshi would never have to know it was you. You started yowling, hoping the teacher would hear you. Hitoshi tried to shut you up, but you kept meowing.
"Shh! I'm going to get in trouble for having an unlicensed cat in my room! Be quiet!" He put you under his blankets to muffle your meows.
"Hitoshi! Open the door! You think I don't know what a cat sounds like?" Aizawa questioned, banging on the door.
"Shit! Well, at least he's a cat person." Hitoshi whispered. He took the blankets off you and carried you to the door. Aizawa scowled down at you.
"There you are! No one knew where you had gone! You know not to go in other people's dorms! Guess I can't blame you, you fell asleep, didn't you?" You nod at him.
Hitoshi looked extremely confused. "I haven't slept today... So... wait, are... you're talking to the cat? Did you find (Y/N)?"
Aizawa started talking. "What do you mean? They are right-"
You shook your head aggressively and meowed loudly, hoping and praying silently he wouldn't give you away.
"...right in their dorm of course." He took you out of Hitoshi's arms, promised to return you to where you belonged, and carried you back to your room. "Come on! You need to take control of that cat side of yours!" He scolded you.
You looked down in shame. "Sorry sensei, the cat side is just always just so sleepy; it's too hard to resist sometimes! I will do better, I promise." If you kept this up, he would expel you for sure.
"Fine. Whatever. We'll talk about this later. Don't let it happen again. Just remember, the internships begin tomorrow. Get to bed." He gently shut the door.
