Waking up to my least favorite sound- my alarm, I groan before turning it off a getting out of bed. Trying to find an outfit is especially hard when your clothes are all in boxes. Finding some jeans and baggy sweater I shove them on, promising myself that tonight I will unpack my clothes.

"Good morning Ma!" I call going into the kitchen, just after grabbing my phone from off my desk in my new room.

"Morning honey!" She calls back, "Want anything to eat, we have urm...." she looks round to the empty cupboards, "some form of cereal I'm sure." Causing me to laugh.

"I'm good thanks- we should probs go shopping though." I suggest.

"I'll go while you're at school," My ma replies with a smile.

"Okay, and do ask for help if you need it." I say to her, knowing that she is equally as stubborn as me in terms of not asking for help. Although this isn't always helpful as her body isn't as strong due to the evil cancer.

"Okay mommmm!" She says sarcastically.

Rolling my eyes, "Right I'm gonna go..."

"Okay honey have a great day at school!" and she kisses my head before I walk out the door.

Due to never having been to this town before I decide that google maps will be my best friend in this case, so follow googles 'twenty minute' walking route. Although I didn't really need it as the amount of cars going in a certain direction with teens in roughly tells me where the way to school is anyway.

Walking up to the school, I see how much smaller it is compared to my school in Chicago, meaning that there must be little privacy and the everyone knows everyone sort of thing must happen here- and well if it doesn't then I would be very surprised.

After getting some stares for being the new kid, I find my way to the reception area.

"Hello I'm Georgina Wood!" I say with a smile to the woman on reception who from the look of her face knows immediately who I am. Well I can't imagine they get many new people here.

"Yes, hello!" She chirps, "Give me one second and I will find your timetable," and within ten seconds she returns with the timetable. "Looks like you have History first with Mr Johnson- It's just down that hall on the right."

"Okay- thank you!" I say, smiling again as the blonde woman gives me my timetable.

Heading in the direction she tells me, I quickly find the room- well it is a small school. Noticing that I'm going to be the last one in, I mentally groan before heading in and handing the teacher my 'I'm new slip'.

"Ahh Georgina!" He smiles.

"Georgie." I reply quickly, not trying to be rude, but just so that I don't get known by my full name for the rest of the time in which I am here.

"Sorry Georgie," I smile as he looks round the room, "Take a place by Jasper, Jasper raise your hand." And with that a pale blonde boy raises his hand. I go over to the desk, giving him a small smile before sitting down in the seat next to him.

"Hello, I'm Jasper," He turns towards me flashing a gorgeous- wait what- smile, and offering his hand to shake.

"I'm Georgie," I reply shaking his stone cold hand, my mind immediately going to all the supernatural books I've read, thinking vampire.

"So do you like history?" he asks.

"It's pretty good," a say with a giggle. Wait why am I giggling.

"Hale and Wood pay attention!" Mr. Johnson yells, before turning the board and starting to talk about the American Civil War- one of the only things which has happened in American history apparently.

After a dreary lesson where I was completely distracted by the essence of what was Jaspar Hale the bell finally goes. "Okay see you next lesson class!" Mr. Johnson tries to shout over the students which were already leaving the classroom.

"What have you got next?" Jasper asks, peering down at me due to his height.

I shove out my timetable from my back pocket, scrunching my nose and mentally crying at the fact that I have gym next. "Apparently gym- what about you?" I ask.

"Ah Chemistry," He says sadly, "Come and sit with my family at lunch though, " and before I can reply, he is off down the corridor.

I sigh making my way to gym, and handing my new teacher the slip. "Welcome!" she says, " You can play on Jessica's team," and points me over to a tallish girl with a long brown ponytail who is wearing a pink sports top.

I approach her, "Hey I'm Georgie- I was told to play on this team," I say to the girl who I was told was called Jessica.

"Oooh a new person!" She exclaims as if I was the biggest new news the school had had in a while, "I'm Jessica, we're playing netball come on," She smiles while grabbing my hand and pulling me over.

Jessica introduces me to the girls on the team. That is where I met Bella Swan, a quiet girl, also known as the Sheriffs daughter, who was also quite new in town. Luckily for me Bella was as bad at sport if not worse than me, making it easier for me to not look as bad.

--------------------------------------------------

After the Netball game which our team somehow won- well purely due to Jessica it was Lunch. I make my way to the canteen with Bella, not feeling hungry I just grab a soda while Bella grabs some chicken nuggets. Just as I was going to pay for the soda, I feel a cold tap on my back, causing me to jump, turning round to see a laughing Jasper.

"Come on you're sitting with me," He says, paying for my soda, and grabbing my hand pulling me towards a table, before I can protest.

"I can pay for my own soda ya know," I state.

"You were taking too long," he mutters, as we arrive to a table with four people around, all staring at uneaten food, all equally as pale as Jasper.

"This is Georgie," the blonde introduces before sitting down, and me sitting in-between him and a girl with a brown short bob.

"Hi, I'm Emmett!" The hench tall guy, with brown short hair says offering his hand, to which I shake. His hand- like Jaspers being stone cold.

Before I can even process this, the girl next to me hugs me, "I'm Alice, and I can tell we will be best friends," she states looking me in the eyes with her golden eyes. She is also equally as cold as the other two. Great they're all Vampires, I think, while thinking back to all the stories my Dad used to tell me when I was younger. As if he heard my thoughts the youngest looking one froze, before shacking his head.

"I'm Edward." He mutters, before going back to silence.

"Rosaline," The blonde woman then also speaks.

The rest of lunch was Alice talking with little input from the rest of the family. Although I spend the time thinking about if the stories my Dad told of the Vampire were in fact true, and if so were this odd family them.
