The next two weeks went on well, me and the Cullen's family became very close, especially with Jasper. Although the one who didn't speak much- Edward didn't come in again for all that time. The others saying that he was ill, although this made it clear to see Bella's obsession with Edward after their Biology incident, which she never told me about but I was behind them next to some boy (Tyler I think his name was), so saw the whole thing. Jasper also become more and more attractive over those weeks, although I'm not sure if the feeling was mutual.
Despite all this my theory of them not being human was continually backed, by their constant frozen temperature, never having a lack of tiredness which every other teenager seemed to face, and their food always being untouched. Although I do not care, which is why I never questioned.
People stated that the fact that they spoke to me was odd, most likely due to their 'keeping themselves' lifestyle, which compares hugely to the judgmental one which most the school seemed to hold.

The next day none of the Vampires came in. Bella asked why this was, leading to Jessica explaining that the Cullen's go camping when it's sunny, as a 'family bonding'. Which I think both me and Bella smelt bullshit, although this just confirmed to me of my conspiracies.
I ended up sitting with Bella and her friends that day, due to the Cullen's absence. This is where I met people such as Mike- a tall lanky guy in which you can only explain as an average teen boy, Tyler a too cocky yet funny boy and Eric a geeky boy who I learnt from the first day was one of the main writers for the newspapers. In terms of girls, there was Lauren who a very pretty girl and from what was gathered was going out with Tyler. Then Angela who was lovely and seemed to warm up especially to Bella, and of course Jessica who was hopelessly in love with Mike, who couldn't stop staring with Bella. This group were your average group of teens, who didn't have any problems outside of this small town of Forks.

After the dull Friday, which may have been due to the lessons or the absence of a certain Hale. After the short twenty minute walk, I greet my Ma who is flicking through the channels mindlessly. Wanting to actually get to know this town and it's uniqueness, I decide while it is still light that I will explore the forest.
"Ma, I'm gonna go and explore," I say.
"Okay, honey be safe," She replies, while settling on some trash tv show.
Heading towards the edge of town and towards the deep green forest, the atmosphere immediately changes to a silent one. Running into the freedom and breathing in the new found fresh air- air which you would never have had back in Chicago, I realise that this is now my home, and I never want to go back. "Dad you would have loved this," I whisper, as if he could hear me from his dead body. The forest reminding me on all those camping trips, he dragged me and Ma on to get away from the city- he always wanted us to live in somewhere like Forks but his job would have never allowed it.
After running freely for a while, I stumble across a beautiful woodland house with mass glass windows. I guess you would never have to hide here. After staring at its beauty for a while, I turn back touching the trees and branches as I skip along, due to just wanting to feel the nature.
Before long I spot a familiar figure further ahead. Jasper turns his head, clearly in shock to see me. "How was camping?" I smirk, the fact that he's here and not away confirms my theory.
"Why are you here?" He asks, avoiding my question.
"It's a free country," I state before skipping off again, allowing my longish brown wavy hair to follow behind me.
"You know what we are don't you," He shouts, causing me to stop yet still not turn around.
"Yes." I confirm.
"So why aren't you running?" He questions.
"Because you're not a monster," I state, turning around and without a second glance Jaspar comes running towards me at full monster speed, picking me up racing up a hill. I lean back in his arms shoving my head out so it feels the strength of the wind laughing at the speed.
In less than a minute we are at the top of the highest point in miles, "But I am." He states, his face shining like beautiful diamonds. I smile at his beautiful pale- stone like face, a stroke down his cheek with my hand, still being carried in bridal position, our eyes- his gold and mine blue staring into each others. Before long we are lying down hands connected.
"How did you know?" I whispered.
"Edward reads minds, he knew you suspected, but we don't how you guessed so quickly," He replies softly.
"My dad used to tell stories, I think he knew but I don't know how..."
"Why don't you ask him?"
He's, well he's dead," and with that Jasper is hugging me, me lying on top of his hard chest. Why do I already feel so a connection with the Vampire who I barley know, I think to myself.
"You're my mate G," He says stroking my hair, "That's why you feel such a connection, I- I have to protect you, I can't help it." I stay still, just processing all this, although it definitely makes sense this feeling of intensity is so soon, yet I like it.
"Although," He states again, "If you don't want any of this, say and my family can move and you never have to see me again," Causing me to grip his shirt.
"Never leave," I say closing my eyes.
"I'm a monster you know. I'm designed to kill- everything about me pulls you in. I could kill you, even though I don't want to. My family call themselves vegetarians, we only drink animals blood. I'm scared of killing you by accident- I should leave." He says, trying to argue himself out of staying.
"Never leave," I repeat, "You're not a monster, this isn't your fault."
After about an hour of us just lying thinking about things, me mulling over this feeling. Him being happy that he finally found his mate.
My phone starts to ring, it being my Ma wondering where I am.
"I have to go," I mutter.
"I'll take you back," He replies and before long I am in his car outside my house.
"Thank you," Is the last thing I say before getting out and going into me and my Ma's new home.
