The Unknown- Jasper Hale

"Morning gorgeous," Jasper kisses my head as I wake up from what was a nice dream. I groan at the realisation that today is a hospital day for my Ma, which always makes her tired which is something I hate seeing. 

Cuddling further into Jasper I close my eyes to try and kid myself that I'm asleep again. "You sure you don't want me to come with you?" He asks again.

"I'll be fine, you go and play baseball," I mutter still with my eyes closed, "besides you will all need to make Bella feel welcome as Rosaline will do the opposite," Jasper chuckles, knowing that that is exactly what Rosaline will do. 

"Okay well I better go and get ready," He grins, "See you G," pecking my lips and winking before leaving the now open window.

Sighing I get up and head to the shower...

Since today is a hospital day we get ready for a full day out. I start to prepare tonight's meal so that it is ready for as soon as we get home. While I do this, my Ma packs her hospital bag. Sadly this is something which we have grown used to over the past year and a bit. 

"You ready hun?" My Ma chirps. She always stays positive, despite all the bad stuff that has happened to us. This has persuaded me to try and be like that, besides what good comes out of always being negative?

We load the little bag full of stuff into the car, as I hop into the drivers seat. "What board games competitions have we got today?" She asks.

"Thought we could start with Connect four, then go onto Uno. We also have that five thousand piece puzzle which we always say we will do." I reply, while trying to concentrate on driving.

"Wait we're actually going to do the puzzle?"

"Yep!" 

"The puzzle which has been in our precession for ten years?"

"Hell yeah!"

"Well this is something knew," Ma laughs, "Oooh lets see how fast we can do it!" To which I nod with a smile. 

We spend the rest of the day together, talking about well anything to distract from the substance being put in her body. My Ma has deep blue eyes, which I inherited along with her pale like skin. Her hair was once long a honey comb blonde, however is now short and grey due to the evilness of cancer. Despite this she still looks beautiful, though having such a kind soul always fits into that. We actually finished the puzzle in two hours, which caused a huge cheer, making all the other patients confused.

After a long and tiring day especially for my mother, she went up to bed where I brought her food up before she went to sleep.

Finally turning on my phone, which I hadn't looked at for all of today. There are thirty miscalls, from Jasper along with various calls and texts from other members of the family. I immediately click to call Jasper, which he answers within the first ring.

"Georgie," he says, sounding relieved- what's wrong?

"Yes?" I say clearly confused.

"I'm not in forks," He states.

"Well where are you then?"

"Arizona," Before I can even ask why he continues, "Three vampires came during our game. One of them- James, he's wanting to kill Bella. I'm with Alice and Bella to keep her safe, while the others try to find him,"

"How long will you be gone?" I question.

"I'm not sure," He responds, "I've got to go stay safe G, I love you,"

"I love you too," I reply before he hangs up. Well I guess I've got to carry on as normal, so no one suspects anything.
