Me and Jasper end up, up a tall tree looking out for miles, being able to see the tiny town which looks like a speck due to being hundreds of miles up. Jasper has one arm protectively around the front of my body to prevent me from falling to the dirt below. We stay like this for ages, with the soft sway of the wind hitting our faces every now and then. The river to the side of the forest looking particularly empty on this gloomy low light day. Turning to Jasper whose back is against the tree stump, I admire his features never wanting to forget his long honey blond hair, which matches with his golden eyes. His marbled skin with had soft scares on. Running my fingers over them softly, I look up at him, "What's your story Jas?" I whisper, though knowing he could hear it as clear as anything.
Jasper sighs, taking my hands into his, "It was after becoming a major in the Confederate Army," he starts, to explain still with my hands in his grip, "I met a vampire called Maria, who proceeded to turn me into what she was. Maria asked me to help her in her creation of a newborn vampire army. However, over the next decades, I became tired of the violent and bloodstained life, because I could the emotions of those I killed- I was a killing machine. I eventually ran away and in 1948 I stumbled across Alice, who saw me coming. She and the rest of the family taught me the way which I live by now."
I proceed to give Jasper a hug, "I thought it was love me and Maria," He states, "but now I realise I couldn't have been more wrong, she used me and others for her own power,"
"It's okay Jas," I whisper into his chest.
"No, I killed people for my own satisfaction,"
"But you don't do it anymore it's okay," I reply.
"I will never forgive myself," he mutters.
"Well you should," I say while looking up at his tall figure, leaning in to give him a kiss on his lips- something which I will never quite get over.
--------------------------
"I'll see you tonight," Jasper says, kissing the top of my head before I get out of the car closing the door behind, to which he drives off quickly- as usual.
"Hello Georgie, how was it?" My mother asks with true excitement, while I proceed to tell her about Jaspers family, as she looks with true intensity. One thing I love about her is you will always get her full attention no matter what she is doing. Maybe that is only child thing, or a we were the only thing each other had for too long, but I will never take it for granted.
"Oh they found lovely- I would love to meet them," She says, before getting up and starting to prepare some form of meal for us.
"Hey Ma, tomorrow we should go out- ya know look around the town," I suggest to which she nods and smiles to, as we then continue to go on about god knows what.
----------------------------------------
The next week went equally as well, as I got used to my new routine. I hung out with Jasper, and got to know his siblings more- especially Rosaline who took a rare liking to me. Edward and Bella also got closer meaning, much to Rosaline's dismay. Although it was nice having a new friend around, despite her being a bloodsinger which made Jasper slightly uncomfortable around her. Although we would all help him get used to it, as he is still getting used to being as strong as the others.
Today was Saturday, so was the day that my Ma starts her chemotherapy again. Due to the quietness she is allowed to stay in over night, which is best for her as it means she can be monitored just after. Despite hating driving, I drive her to the hospital in our little car which is getting to be slightly too old for the roads, but is perfect for us. "Are you sure you don't want me to come in?" I ask her as she gets out of the car.
"No, I'll be fine honey don't worry," she smiles, kissing me on the head before going to reception carrying her little blue rucksack which contains her overnight bag. Although we have been through this too many times it's still hard seeing her so ill, but she is a strong fighter. Shaking my head out of thought, I drive back on one of the few Forks road to the building in which we call home.
Today I have my heart on finally finishing that wall which I started to paint when I first got to Forks- when Jasper first kissed me. I start painting a tree which reminds me and one which was near a campsite my family used to go to when I was younger. This would be when my dad would share stories about the supernatural, some which came true, others such as the wolves I have no evidence that they do, but the trust in my once alive father.
After a few hours of painting, and finally being satisfied with the end product I clean up and wait for it to dry. A knock comes from the front door, to which appears a happy looking Jasper.
"Why Mr. Whitlock I see you've finally met the front door," I smirk.
"Want company?" He asks with a gleam on his face.
----------------------------
"Okay that was so bad," Jasper says at the end of a random film that was showing on tv.
"I told you it would be,"
"Yeah well now we know,"
"Not to trust the TV? Yep," I say popping the 'p', before rushing up to my room closing the door changing into my PJs which consisted of shorts and a random tank top. "Okay you can come in now!" I laugh, as he walks in kicking off his shoes.
"Nice painting," He remarks.
"Thank you!" I smile.
"I could of done better though," He jokes.
"Oi don't diss the tree, we love the tree," I joke back
"I love you...." and with that I'm kissing him, more passionately than ever before, our emotions crashing together get fitting perfectly like a jigsaw.
Breaking out of the kiss, I reach up cupping his cheek, "I love you too," I say staring into his eyes.
"You have no idea how long I've waited for that," He mutters, before kissing me again more intensely than before pulling off shirt I see his pale yet beautiful chest, flashing all his faint scars from the past. As we lie down on the bed, me being out of breathe from the kissing before.
"Beautiful," I mutter, stroking his scares, before falling into a deep sleep.
