Bella came home the next day with Charlie as well as Edward at her side. I decided to give it a few days before I went round and visited. I had rarely seen Bella outside of school, as she is barely at the Cullen's. Although she was only over for her second time when the whole James wanting to kill her thing happened.

It is now Saturday so I have no school to get in the way. This is the day which I will go and visit Bella, to see how she is feeling. We are the only two people who know what it's like to be in this situation, well that we are aware of.

"I'm seeing Bella ma," I call while rushing down the stairs to the kitchen, "Will you be okay?" My ma has been more weak lately, probably due to the medication but it still makes me worry.

"Yes yes of course," She says assuring me that she is fine, "Tell Bella I said hi!" I flash her a quick smile before closing the door.

It was raining as it is most the time in Fawkes. Although this shows Forks how it is meant to be shown, by highlighting all the greenery around. The rain also helps keep the quietness of the place, which is one reason why so many are attracted to it.

Reaching the white wooden house which is nearly identical to the ones all around except the unnoticeable police car outside the front, I go up to the wooden front door. Not even having to knock for the second time before a tall pale skinned man with dark hair and a moustache to match answers it- Charlie.

"Hello Chief Swann, I'm Georgie Wood," I introduce myself quickly but getting no reply, "Urm is Bella in?" I ask awkwardly.

"Yes upstairs on the right," He smiles, before letting me in, "It's urm, well it's nice to see that Bella has other friends." Immediately knowing that he's going on about apart from Edward.

"Bella has lots of friends sir," I reply swiftly before heading in the direction which he previously stated.

"Call me Charlie," He smiles before walking off.

Bella's door is a pale oak colour with wooden letters spelling 'Bella' which is presumably from her childhood. I hesitantly knock.

"Come in," Bella's voice calls. Leading me to opening the door, and closing it behind me.

"Bella," I say looking up at her sitting on her bed, with her broken leg out in front of her. I rush to give her a hug which she accepted gratefully which is rare for Bella. Turning around I see Edwards figure behind me.

"Oh hi Edward," I say in shock before giving him a hug, which I do not think he was expecting. This was given away by the startle before he hugged back.

"I'm just leaving," He says to me, before heading back over to Bella, "See you later," He kisses Bella on the forehead and leaves through the window.

"God those Vampires clearly don't like the concept of a front door," I mutter, causing Bella to laugh.

After a long day of me and Bella literally just talking and playing stupid board games. As well as the dinner which Charlie made us consisting of a slightly burnt frozen pizza me and Bella have ended up lying on her bed just talking about life.

"What was it like Bells?" I ask out of nowhere while staring up at her ceiling.

"What was what like?" She asks, her also doing the same actions as me.

"Almost being one," I quietly say with my eyes closed.

"I was so close to always being with Edward. It was painful at first, but then I remembered that it would be eternity with him, and I would have no more of this taking away my soul or the potential of hurt threat. I would have no longer been weak," She finishes, before having a deep sigh.

After saying my goodbyes to the Swan household, I start heading home with the sky still raining as it was when I came. Edwards silver Volvo rolls up besides me before stopping at my side. "Get in," The young Cullen's voice yells, to which I gladly accept.

"Are you sure you don't want to go to prom?" A southern accent questions as we head into the Cafeteria for break.

"No Jas, It's really not my thing," I reply for what seems like the hundredth time.

"I just don't want you missing out," He mutters before grabbing an apple to make it look like he was going to eat.

"I won't miss out," I say turning to him, "I wouldn't have gone anyway. You're still coming over after school though right?"

"Of course G," He says pecking my lips before grabbing the soda can in my hand and paying for it along with his apple.

One great thing about Jasper is he doesn't force you to do things you don't want to. Edward made sure Bella went to the prom due to fear of future resentment but Jasper did what I wanted to do that night. We cooked, watched a movie and just enjoyed being together. It's these moments in time which I will treasure forever.
