Fallan
After showering and stealing one of Levi's shirts and a pair of his boxers, I walked into his room, and the familiar scent of lemon and mint welcomed me. Levi was stretched out across his bed in his boxers - I couldn't say I didn't enjoy the view. I hadn't bothered to wash my hair, and instead twisted it into a top knot and let a few wisps come loose and frame my face.
It was strange to me how quickly our relationship had progressed. One minute he was my mentor, the next I was shuffling into his bed and into the comfort of his arms. I couldn't deny I'd always felt a certain way towards the raven haired male, but I never thought it would end up like this. It was bliss.
Secretly I'd always longed for something like this, a welcoming embrace that made the stresses of the day melt away to nothing more than a distant niggle in the back of my head. Without Levi, I never would've known this feeling - peace.
I'd always thought the feeling was unattainable in a place like this, but with Levi it was almost natural. I hoped he felt the same.
"Levi?" I asked quietly, playing with a strand of his hair. He hummed in acknowledgement, and I took a deep breath.
"I have a question." I whispered, and he opened one of his eyes to look at me.
"Shoot."
"When this is all over, will you stay? With me, I mean."
"Yes. You can help with my tea shop."
I couldn't help but snort at the statement he'd remarked so casually. I couldn't imagine my calloused little Levi providing any sort of successful customer service.
"What's funny?" He grumbled, his brow furrowing slightly. I felt a tinge of regret for laughing at him, but to be honest I'd assumed he was joking.
"Nothing, nothing." I attempted to recover quickly, but couldn't help the snigger that escaped my lips.
"What is funny about my tea shop Reid?" He turned to face me, propping his head up on one hand, while the free hand brushed a lock of hair from my face.
"I just can't imagine you running a tea shop."
That was it; clearly I'd set him off. Levi pushed himself on top of me, face centimetres from mine as he peered at me with a deadly serious expression on his face.
"Not running it." He spoke, face inching closer to mine, "Owning it."
I gulped, and stared up at him with wide eyes.
"My bad." I squeaked, and he rolled off of me and on to his back, closing his eyes once more.
"What sort of tea shop?" I asked, attempting to catch my breath.
"Black." He murmured.
Very descriptive.
"Where?"
"Anywhere."
I groaned at him and shuffled over so that my face was resting on his chest.
"You're not being very engaging here Levi. You do realise to run a tea shop, you need customers, and you will need to speak to these customers."
"Who said?"
His reply had stumped me, and I had no idea how to reply.
"There will be no customers," He began, "Just me... You... And the tea."
"Groundbreaking." I muttered. "Why has no one ever thought of that before? A shop with no customers? Revolutionary."
"Because I..." He sat up and planted a kiss on the top of my head, "Am a genius."
I reached forward and pulled him to face me, capturing his lips in mine and letting my hand tangle in his dark mass of hair.
"I love you." I breathed as I pulled away, then shot back in alarm, covering my mouth as a furious blush spread to my cheeks.
Smooth.
We stared at each other for a moment, our expressions both as shocked as each other's. Levi looked like someone had just raided his cleaning cupboard and not put everything back in its correct place.
"What?"
I scrambled for a response.
"I said... I love..." I began slowly, "Your hair. I love your hair. What products do you use to keep it in such great condition-"
"You didn't say that."
"Yes I did."
His horrified expression morphed into one of happiness as the brightest smile I'd ever seen him don graced his features. He scrambled over to me and encompassed me in his arms.
"I love you too, idiot."A/N
