It had been a couple of week since Jungkook and Taehyung had agreed on the idea of surrogacy and they have been actively looking into it ever since. They managed to find an agency and set up an appointment to meet with someone to get everything started which excited both of the men. Jungkook ended up having to tell his parents and Jin and Namjoon about the surrogacy as they needed references in order for the agency to clear them, everyone had been so happy over the idea which just made both Taehyung and Jungkook even more thrilled to be bringing another child into their family.

They decide to hold off on telling Asami for the time being just in case something went wrong and things ended up not working out, they knew there was a chance of that happening so holding off on telling their daughter about her potential new sibling was firmly on hold for now.

"Daddy, why do I have to go to Jinie and Joonie's today? I want to stay with you and daddy." Asami pouts as Taehyung finishes getting her dressed for the day, his heart breaking from her words.

"I'm sorry, princess. We really need to get everything sorted out for the wedding, I'm sure you'd much rather be playing with Hana then being dragged around a boring wedding venue all day." Taehyung tries to convince Asami as he turns her around in order to start styling her hair. "Besides, Jin told me he bought all the ingredients for you girls to make fairy cakes."

"Really? Fairy cakes?!" Asami squeals, excitedly bouncing in place.

"Yep." Taehyung laughs as he finishes the plait in Asami's hair. "Ok, you're all done. Go see if daddy is ready so we can leave."

Asami nods as she runs out of the room and down the stairs to see her other dad typing away on his phone as he sat in silence on the sofa. "Daddy! Are you ready to go?"

Jungkook startles from the sudden voice of his daughter, almost dropping his phone in the process. "Jesus, pancake don't scare me like that."

"Sorry," Asami says, although she didn't sound sorry in the slightest. "Can I bring Tanie with me? He'll be lonely on his own." She asks as she sits on the living room carpet and pets the dog.

"Yeah, sure." Jungkook agrees as he turns his attention back to replying to an email. Jin and Namjoon had taken care of Yeontan before so he knows they wouldn't be mad if Asami was to show up with him.

Taehyung makes his way downstairs, finally dressed and ready to go as skips happily into the living room and leans across the back of the sofa to place a kiss on Jungkook's cheek. "You ready?"

"Yeah, one sec, I need to reply to this email." Jungkook mumbles, still half focused on his phone. "Oh, pancake is taking Yeontan so can you put his lead on him?"

Taehyung hums as he places a couple more kisses of Jungkook's cheek and finally goes to retrieve Yeontan's sparkly light blue lead from beside the door and placing it on the excited little dog. He puts his own shoes on before quickly putting a pair of boots onto Asami, all three of them standing awkwardly by the door as they wait for Jungkook to be finished. He finishes a couple of minutes later much to everyone's relief as he makes his way to get his own shoes on to leave.

"You know you literally could've replied to that email whilst in the car, I'm the one driving." Taehyung says as they finally leave the house.

"That would've been too easy, I've never been an easy man." Jungkook smirks as he follows behind the elder.

"I know that all too well." Taehyung rolls his eyes but he can't help but let out a little laugh at the younger's words.

Thankfully dropping Asami off was an easy task, the promise of making fairy cakes seemingly a very effective tactic to get her to agree to things. Jin subtly wishes them a good luck for their meeting at the agency before saying goodbye.
