WARNING - SMUT
Jungkook can't contain his smile as he opens the door to his parents, he hasn't seen them in what feels like forever. However, Asami gets to them before he can, squealing loudly as she jumps out from behind him and hugs both of their legs. It's an adorable sight, it always makes him happy to see how much his daughter loves her grandparents.
"Pancake release them so they can come inside," Jungkook says with a laugh, making an attempt to pull Asami back into the house.
"I was helping daddy cook!" Asami happily announces as she leads everyone into the living area.
"Wow, that's why it smells so amazing in here." Mr. Jeon sniffs the air with over the top enthusiasm, the action making the little girl giggle happily.
"Or that could be the smell of the poop explosion that Minjun just had, Tae's upstairs cleaning him now."
"Now that's a smell that I'll never say is amazing," Mr. Jeon grimaces which only makes Asami giggle at him more. She's on his lap the second he sits down on the sofa, happily rambling on about the day she spent with Hana.
Jungkook smiles at them before turning to his mother with the sweetest smile he had to offer, "Mom, can you help me in the kitchen please?"
"I'm only here two minutes and you're already treating me like a slave," Mrs. Jeon sighs but follows her son towards the kitchen regardless.
"I actually didn't need help, I just wanted to talk to you..."
"About?"
Leaning against the kitchen counter, Jungkook falls into silence for a moment whilst his mother patiently waits for him to continue. "So I was thinking, maybe in a couple of days you and dad could take the kids out, spend some personal time with them since they hardly get to see the both of you."
"And this is for your father and I's benefit?"
"Well yeah. Minjun's only seen you twice since he's been born so it would be good for you to spend the day with him. Get in some personal bonding time, you know? Not to mention pancake is always whining about how much she misses her 'Grannie and Papa days'."
"Okay sweetie, that sounds like a great idea." Mrs. Jeon smiles as she moves towards the oven to check on whatever her son was cooking, aware that he was practically buzzing with excitement right beside her. "I suppose you and Tae need some relaxation time, must be hard to get any with Minjun being so small."
"Yeah... Tae can take a bath, and I'll finally be able to catch up on that drama that he's been watching without me."
"You don't have to lie to me, baby bun."
"I'm not lying," Jungkook's eyes dart down to look at his feet, unable to look his mom in the eye.
"You and your father have the same lying face, I'm almost certain Asami has inherited it as well," Mrs. Jeon laughs loudly. "We'll take the kids out for the day on boxing day, but I'll be sure to text you when we're on our way back so you can make sure you're both decent."
Jungkook almost chokes on his saliva when he hears the words leave his mom's mouth. Not that he didn't know how obvious the whole thing was, he just didn't expect his mother to so bluntly out him. "Uh- yeah, thanks. You're a big help, mom," he quickly says when he gets his senses back.
Despite the sense of humiliation he felt, Jungkook was still glad he could look forward to a couple of hours completely alone with Taehyung. He feels more excited than his daughter did for Christmas day, and he knows he won't be able to contain his excitement until the wait was over.
