*Third Person POV*

"Alright, since you've not only completed your side of the deal, but finished it way earlier than the deadline... I suppose it is fair that you get what you signed up for." Notch said.

"Bring it." Clay said.

"First of all, that 'adrenaline rush' of yours is actually a quirk." Notch explained.

"What? So you're telling me that I have two quirks?" Clay asked.

"Indeed, but it's not just any quirk. It's a sentient quirk that has been passed down from generation to generation called 'Clutch'." Notch continued.

"Interesting, but what do you mean that it's sentient?" Clay asked.

"The quirk itself is a living thing. It determines its user every 20 to 30 years and once it's found someone worthy, it will live inside someone until it's time to pass it down once again." Notch explained.

"That's a complicated backstory." Clay remarked.

"I never understood it either, but I know that you possess it. You've shown a fraction of its power multiple times." Notch said.

"Wait, only a fraction? And how do you know so much about this 'Clutch' quirk?" Clay asked.

"I was... somewhat close with the previous user, he trusted me enough to explain to me the fundamentals of the quirk." Notch said.

"Makes sense, but being told all this is a little much to handle." Clay said.

"I feel you." Notch replied.

"So what? Am I some sort of god now?" Clay asked.

"No, you're just a superhuman levelled superhuman." Notch said.

"That does not make sense." Clay said.

"Whatever. Either way, I made a promise to an old friend of mine that I would train whoever inherited the 'Clutch' quirk. Please, let me help you master and learn about the quirk." Notch pleaded.

Clay didn't know what to say, he was absolutely dumbfounded that one, he had a second quirk and two, it made him super powerful and finally, it wasn't permanent. It was going to leave him the next 20 or 30 years. But, he had it now.

And he was going to make use of it.

"You know, being told all this really is a lot to take in. But, I'm curious. Is there a limit to this power?" Clay asked.

"That is unknown." Notch said.

"Good, when do we start?" Clay asked as he started stretching, getting ready for a workout.

"Now." Notch said.

Suddenly, Notch charged towards Clay, landing a punch to the gut that sent him flying away and falling into the sea. This caught Clay off guard as he panicked for a while, but regained his composure not long after.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Clay yelled as he was completely drenched.

"Lesson 1, there is no conversations during a fight!" Notch yelled as he suddenly appeared right in front of Clay and grabbed him by the head.

"NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NOT THIS AGAIN!" Clay yelled as he was once again getting dragged by the head by Notch.

"Lesson 2, don't ever let your guard down. No matter what!" Notch yelled as he slammed Clay face-first into the sand.

Clay was fuming at this point, he slipped out of Notch's hands and used his legs to grab Notch by the neck and forced him down onto the ground. He then leapt upwards and was about to throw a fist. Unfortunately, Notch somehow managed to catch Clay's fist.

"You can't fight back without using 'Clutch', so use it already!" Notch yelled as he grabbed Clay's fist and threw him far away into the sea.

As Clay fell into the sea, he focused his mind as he closed his eyes and clenched his fists. His blood boiled and his vein started to pop up. This was just his 'adrenaline rush' stage, however, Clay felt like he could go further past that, so he did.

The water around him started to boil as a green aura formed around him, the aura was pretty small but noticeable as it glowed beautiful neon green. Clay was certain that this was 'Clutch' as he leapt out of the water and charged towards Notch.

"Now, this... this is 'Clutch'!" Notch yelled as he put on a fighting stance, symbolising that he was ready to take on whatever Clay was about to bring to him.

Clay and Notch were going head to head, each trading blow after blow after blow. As the fight progressed on, Clay's attacks would get weaker and weaker as he was losing stamina by the second. Of course, Notch realised this too and decided to end the battle now with a swift chop to the neck.

"It's been ages since I've had a battle like that, consider me impressed." Notch said as he carried Clay and let him rest on a nearby bench.
