The day passed reasonably fast after breakfast time and before she knew it it was one o'clock and Eloise was stood at the front of the school waiting for Freddie. She stood, and she waited, counting the minutes her body flowing with excitement. Maybe he was going to finally ask her to be his girlfriend.
Ten minutes passed he still was not there.
fifteen. Nope.
Thirty? nope.
Forty? still no Freddie.
After an hour Eloise checked the watch on her wrist then sighed. Turning around and leaving for her common room ignoring the sinking feeling that she was experiencing in her stomach. She felt absolutely humiliated. Eloise Potter, felt worthless..again. She had been stood up.
She trudged into the common room rather glum at the thought of her ruined day hearing her friends laughing on the couch in front of the fire. Hearing someone enter the common room the group turned to face the girl shock evident on each of their faces.
"You're back early" noted Lily confused
"Never left." she groaned flopping into the sofa next to Sirius "Pass us some of that" gestured the girl to the whiskey on the table.
"What happened?" said Remus hesitantly noticing James tense as he thought of another boy hurting his baby sister.
"He stood me up!" she exclaimed "He fucking stood me up! The absolute audacity of this motherfucker." she huffed
"He did what?" seethed James
"Yep he stood me up!" she repeated with wide eyes trying to grasp the concept "What the fuck. He stood me up!" this time she shouted
"Why?" frowned Lily "I thought you were doing good."
"So did I!" exclaimed Eloise taking a swig from the bottle in her hand "But no apparently not." she paused thinking over her next words "Oh well he was a shit shag anyway."
This made the group of friends burst into a fit of giggles as the girl proceeded to rant about the audacity of the blonde Ravenclaw "I never want to hear anyone say 'give the weird kid a chance' again. You give em a chance then they fuck off thinking they can get any girl they want! Pompous Prat." she grumbled as the group of friends began to wheeze with laughter.
"If he was a shit shag.." started James curiously "Then who did you compare him to, to come to that conclusion? Like...you've only shagged three people two of them being brothers..so which one did you compare him to." pressed her twin
"If this is your way of trying to trick me into telling you which Black was better in bed then it's not going to work." sighed Eloise leaning on Sirius' shoulder
"He just wants to know who you compared him to love" shrugged Sirius smirking down at the girl who's head was on his shoulder. She looked up at him through her lashes saying nothing, then poked her tongue out at him shutting her eyes and sighing "You're such a child." he laughed
