Regulus Black was walking side by side with Ophelia Gaunt erupted in conversation about the dark times that are coming. The duo had become increasingly close ever since their last encounter Regulus stopping at nothing to uncover the secrets of one Ophelia Gaunt.
"Do you think that there will be a war?" the boy wondered aloud
"Yes." Ophelia nodded "I think it could be avoided if people just complied to my- the dark lords wishes...but that's just wishful thinking.."
Regulus nodded silently as the pair continued to walk with no destination in mind. "Do you want to comply?..with the dark lord I mean..do you agree with what he says?"
"Do you?" the girl said with a raised brow nodding knowingly when the boy remained silent "Didn't think so..but we have to pretend don't we...because that's just our life..we don't have parents like the Potters do"
"Amen to that"
"Amen?" frowned the girl curiously
"Heard some muggleborn say it" he shrugged nonchalantly
"Yes they are" agreed Regulus as silence fell upon them once more "Ophelia?"
"Yes?" the blonde stopped intrigued by what the boy wanted to say
"Have you got a middle name?"
"Yes I do.." she replied uncomfortably
"What is it?"
"I'm not telling you." the girl replied beginning to get flustered just thinking about it.
"Oh come on don't be boring" he pleaded giving the girl his best puppy eyes.
"No." she replied stubbornly avoiding his eyes as they suddenly came to a halt his gazes burning hole in the side of her head "Stop it." she scolded with a huff "I'm not telling you so you're wasting your time" but his gaze did not falter "Oh fine" she sighed in defeat watching as a huge grin etched itself on to his face. "Shut up."
"I didn't say anything" he grinned looking like a child who had just been given his favourite sweets.
"Nagini"
"Nagini?" frowned regulus in confusion
"Yes. that's my middle name."
"What does it mean?"
"Snake. It comes from the Sanskrit word nãga." answered Ophelia "Go one laugh."
But Regulus remained quiet and in thought "No I like it. It's different"
"Really I think it's awful."
"I think it's fitting, you being a descendant of Slytherin and all" the boy shrugged victoriously.
