"Finally!" sighed Lily in relief as Eloise returned to the common room "We were gonna do the cake without you!" she exclaimed as she pulled Eloise down to sit beside her as the red head was sat between the twins.
Eloise noticed Lily's choice to sit beside her brother and she sent the red head a knowing look a small smirk resting upon her face as her eyes darted between her best friend and her brother who's proximity seemed to be getting closer and closer.
"Cake!" said Alice excitedly hopping off of Franks lap and darting up to the dormitory coming down moments later with a large chocolate fudge cake.
"Happy birthday to you" sung the twins friends as the twos eyes glinted with mischief grinning ear to ear. "Happy birthday to you" they continued "happy birthday El and Pro-James" the group sung in unison Marlene, Mia, lily and Alice's brows furrowing as Remus, Sirius and Peter messed up James' name. "Happy birthday to you" they finished
"Oh to be seventeen-" sighed Eloise dramatically head falling into her brothers lap
"Oh whatever shall we do?" her brother copied
"We are adults now"
"We have- We have-" gasped James dramatically looking at his sister
"R-r" started Eloise with a modified expression
"Responsibilities!" they exclaimed in unison James pretending to faint and Eloise playing dead.
"Oh stop it you dingbats" scolded Alice "Blow out the fucking candles my arms are aching"

"Ready James" she nodded and in unison the twins, like every year, leant forward blowing out the candles on the cake, sealing the deal.
"Well." sighed James as he looked at his sister "Feel any older?"
"Not really..but now that you mention it I got my first moustache hair" she joked
"Let me see" said the boy pushing his glasses up further on the bridge of his nose as he leant forward to inspect his sisters upper lip "Holy shit you do!" he laughed "Padfoot your girlfriend has a moustache!"
"Oi fuck off!" whined Eloise covering her lip self consciously "I'll have you know I waxed it this morning" she huffed making the group laugh.
