Enola Holmes' POV :

Years had passed when all that things happened. It has been years when I was sent to look for an Italian spy and found Tewksbury with another woman. It has been years since I met my best friend- William. I have no idea that all the entire amount I've spent would be like this. I'm already married with Tewksbury, making me a Lady Tewksbury. Took some time before my brothers approved my marriage. Mycroft was the first one who thought that maybe I will be so reckless or be a trouble to my husband, good thing, he approved in the end. It's only because he had no choice. Right now, Tewksbury and I were happily living our 'happy-ever-after'. While, Martina and Nora wasn't united yet, there were no marriage for people like them in this generation. But, they stayed together. I believe that soon, the next generation will have marriage for them.

Eleanor, on the other hand, got to marry a rich businessman and they decided to live somewhere in Italy. She never showed up after the wedding disaster, but luckily, she's still in touch with Martina. I've never been so happy in other people's lives, I was in relief that we were all once that 'lost teenagers who just wanted to party at the end of the day'.

While sitting at the terrace, Tewksbury came his way unto my direction and sat on the other seat facing mine. We were both gazing at the stars, having the night's breeze into us.

"Look how fast everything changes," he uttered and glanced at me, his voice was deeper than usual. Hot. I know.

"I know. Imagine waking up with an idiot by my side? Going to sleep with a human teddy bear?" I teased and mocked his pout as he was pouting like a kid right now.

He raised his hand, accepting his defeat. "At least you chose to marry this idiot."   Tewksbury leaned on my cheek and kissed it. This guy haven't changed.

"Where do you want to celebrate our first anniversary together?" I questioned.

"I know where to."

After some conversations, I asked some permission for him if I can go alone since I had to meet an old friend of mine. The carriage moves faster as I went inside... or was it not fast? I was just kind of dizzy these days.

I dropped by the lodging house. William's aunt lodging house. I noticed that the lodging house became quite nostalgic. It had gotten spider webs in it and even had a vintage vibes in it. Remembering everything I've done in there made me wanted to go back. I was internally crying. I'm so proud of what I've become. I waited for about an hour and still, William wasn't arriving. There was no signs. No imprints or marks. I started searching for everywhere. To the point that I asked an old man, oh gosh! This was the newspaper guy I used to buy newspaper to!

"Excuse me? Do you have any idea where-"

"Miss Holmes! I mean, Lady Tewksbury.. It has been a while..." He frowned and handed me a newspaper, just like the old times.

"I missed reading your newspapers! But, have you seen a guy passed by in this place?"

"I hate to break it to you, Lady. Mister Cipriani has passed away. He used to visit this spot before, but sadly, his aunt came here at London. I asked the same thing but Cipriani died because of an illness."

What? Am I hearing this right? The last time I did saw him was when we mentioned that we'll see each other again.. soon? I felt goosebumps all over me and started to breakdown. I couldn't even process the words he was saying. Little did I know, I broke down into tears.

He tapped my shoulder and said, "I'm so sorry, Lady."

Riding the carriage has never been so lonely. Not until now. I covered my hand to silently sob as we passed over the Cipriani Residence. It was dark, the spiderwebs are scattered, the glass was broken and most importantly; the house was filled with so much memories. The Cipriani people were one of the best persons I ever look up to. Surely, they are in a better place now.
