After that girl left Kid looked over to me, you could feel the awkwardness in the air, I had sat up and looked at the ground as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously "ummm Maka, I'm sorry about that" I look up ay him shyly "Don't be, you're kinda cute when youre upset and have a protective, stirn tone." He kinda blushed standing up to turn off the movie "Do you want to go for a walk? " I smile up at him nodding "I would love to. " he took my hand helping me up and led me to the door.
I kept quiet thinking of how he kissed me, and how he seemed to want me without saying anything. It started to worry me 'What if he's just using me like my dad used other girls? What if he just chose me because I seemed easy? ' questions like this rushed through my head as I walked hand and hand with him.
Kid looked down seeing worry in my eyes "Princess, are you ok? " I looked up at him shaking my head not wanting to speak. He stopped us in front of a cherryblossom tree and looked deep into my eyes "Princess did I do something to hurt you? " I try not to look at him but his golden eyes are too hard for me not to look into. I sigh taking a deep breath and close my eyes tightly "Kid... " I whisper with a shaky voice trying to hold in the tears "A-are you... " it was too hard to speak knowing my past with my father and how guys liked to play with my emotions before I shut everyone out of my life. "Am I what? " Kid asked with either fear or worry in his eyes. I give one last try taking in another deep breath and shoot out a quick mumble of "Are you just being nice and wanting me to be your girlfriend because you want to screw me and leave thinking I'm an easy target? " He looked at me with a stunned face that I couldn't tell if he was stunned because I would think like that or if it was the fact that I figured it out so fast. He stood there for a second then began to speak in a low tone as he grabbed my wrist "Maka honestly I... "
