Soon enough, the door bell rings again, and I open it knowing it was Melissa.

" Hey Melissa!" I greet happily.

" Christian! It is so nice to finally meet you!" She greets back.

" Same to you, come on in. We still have 15 minutes until before the stream," I reply.

She walks in, " You already have everything set out, huh?"

" Yes, I love cooking and streaming. Add the two together, and it is even better," I chuckle.

" It is! I'm quite excited," Melissa squeals.

" What would you like to do while we wait for the stream?" I ask, putting my hands together.

" We can just sit down and get to know each other a little more," she suggests.

We sit down on the couch, " So how have you been the past few months?"

" I've been doing as well as the cancer will let me," she smiles weakly.

 Yes, she has cancer.

She told me a few weeks after we began talking and that's how we ended up here.

She told me she wanted nothing more than to meet me, my brother, and his band mates.

The doctors don't know if she will make it or not.

I had faith in her, though.

Soon enough, it was time to start streaming.

" Hey everybody! This is Melissa!"

Everyone in the chat were saying hi to her.

" Alright, let's get started!" I say as I read the first step of the recipe out loud.

Near the end, I let Melissa talk about her life.

" I went to the doctors last week, and they concluded that I wouldn't make it," she says after talking a little.

" Wait, what?" I sat as my soul gets crushed.
