I wake up to the sound of people talking.

I quickly grab my small bag I packed the day before for the beach.

It was almost the afternoon, so I knew everyone was ready to go.

We go down to the beach and begin our fun day.

The boys all went surfing while Melissa and I passed a volleyball back and forth.

Shortly, the guys came back up.

 " Done already?" I pause.

" Yeah, it gets tiring, and I think there was a shark out there," Jonah shrugs as if it were nothing.

" OK, well if you are up for it, we can have a volleyball game?" I suggest.

" It's on!" They accept the challenge.

 The teams were separated.

It was me, Melissa, Daniel, Tyler, and the other team was Jack, Jonah, Corbyn, and Zach.

" Ooh! You got the Seavey brothers against ya'll!" Daniel yells.

" So?" Jack says back, though I could tell he was a little scared.

We played multiple games, we won 2 and the others won 2.

There was a lot of arguing over whether the ball hit the line or not, but we settled it each time.

It soon started to get dark, so we sat around a small campfire on the sand.

The ocean was rough tonight, unlike yesterday.

After 20 minutes of trying to get a fire going, a small one began to grow.

 " Hooray!" We celebrated.

Right then, there was a crack of thunder and rain pounded all around us.

The fire went out, " No!"

We got up and raced back to our beach house.

By the time we got back, we were soaked.

We all just laughed, cause it was actually kind of funny.

The last day of our trip was a fun day too.

We packed up and drove the short distance back home.

When Daniel, Tyler, and I got back home, we were all tired.

Tyler fell asleep in his room in 5 minutes.

I unpacked the left over food we had and went to go find Daniel.

I needed to tell him something.
