I'll admit, things weren't going how I thought they would right now.

I didn't know what to do about anything.

I'd just have to go along the way.

I woke up late in the morning, and remembered about what I had to do.

I was going to ask Melissa if she wanted to go to the beach.

I wasn't spoiling her, I just wanted to give her the best rest of her life possible.

She deserved it, I didn't want to let her down as her idol.

Before I did anything, I texted Melissa.

Me: Hey! So, the guys planned a trip to the beach in a few days, and they wanted to know if you'd like to tag along?

She replied within a few seconds.

Melissa: Hey! Yeah, I'm up for it! When?

Me: We leave in 2 days.

 Melissa: OK, I'll be ready!

Me: Talk to you when we got everything planned out.

I felt something off, but I just shook the feeling away.

At this point, I don't know what felt right or wrong.

I got up and decided to just chill for the day.

" Yo Christian! I'm headed out for the morning!" Daniel calls from his room.

" Where are you going?" I ask as I shuffle to the fridge.

" I'm going to go to Jack's house. We have some planning to do before we leave for the beach," he slings a bag over his shoulder.

" Alright, let me know what the plan is, Melissa said she could come with us," I yawn.

" Will do!" Then he was off.

I decided to clean the floor, even though there was nothing to clean.

 I was just bored.

The afternoon comes before I knew it, and Daniel comes back home.

" We're all set. I we need to do is pack up," Daniel reports.

" OK, I'll do that tomorrow," I say.

" Same, too much work," he agrees.

I cook up dinner and afterwards, Daniel, Tyler, and I go visit our parents, Jeff and Keri.

Going to admit, it was so nice to talk to them.

I told the more about Melissa and they told me she sounded sweet.

Then they all got in with messing with me about crushing on her, which I silently hated.

It made me feel uncomfortable, and I didn't know why.

We leave late at night, and we have a silent drive back home.
