Mistake

Chapter 4

 I finish cleaning up and I get ready for bed.

 I realize that Melissa DM'd me on Twitter.

 Melissa: Hey, I'm sorry I didn't tell you.

 Me: It's fine, It was your choice. I'm not mad, I'm just scared.

 Melissa: Scared for what?

 Me: I'm scared for you.

 Melissa: Oh, don't be, and we can hang out any time.

 Me: Sure can! And I saw how much you love WDW, so I'll ask them if it's OK if you can watch them film a mash- up.

 Melissa: Aw! Really? I'd love that!

 Me: OK, I'll let you know tomorrow.

 Melissa: OK, thanks!

 I put my phone down and turn off the light.

 Before I fell asleep, I decided I would stay in a happy spirit for Melissa.

 I woke up and get out of bed.

 " Good morning," I sing as I see Daniel and Tyler.

 " Good morning," they reply in unison.

" Christian, the guys said that it was OK for Melissa to come over," Daniel says.

 " Great! Thanks, I'll go text her."

 I text her and she says she is on her way.

 Once she got here, she fan girls over Daniel and we leave 20 minutes after.

 We arrive at the park with a beautiful view.

 Melissa sits and smiles as they film.

 She goes on her phone right before it ended.

 She gets in the car, " Odd," I say.

" Bro, something is so off," Zach shakes his head.

 " What do you mean?" I ask genuinely curious.

 " I'm sorry about everything that is going on, but some things don't add up," Zach replies.

 The others nod.

 " Like what?" I ask.

 " I don't think she's tried treatment. People who have cancer aren't all happy and giddy, and she has not had any hair loss," Corbyn replies.

 I agreed that it did not add up, but I shook it off.

 She was just happy to live her life, and maybe she didn't want treatment.
