" Bro, Daniel," I call as I walk into his room.
He looks at me with fear, " What is it?"
" First, are you alright?"
" Yeah, why?" He asks confused.
" You gave me a weird look just now," I point out.
" I thought something was wrong. Anyways, what's wrong?"
" I got to tell you something," I twiddle my fingers as I close my door.
" Oh?" He calls back as he walks into the bathroom to unpack.
" Yeah, it's about Melissa..." I trail off.
" What about her?" He calls back.
" She uh, she tried to kiss me," I say quickly.
Daniel pops his head out from the bathroom, " Are you two dating?"
" What? No! I don't like her like that," I defend myself.
" Alright, so why are you telling me this? And what do you mean tried?"
" I am telling you because I was way uncomfortable and if she went around saying we were dating, I'd have someone who knows my side of the story," I explain.
" Yeah, OK, and what is your side of the story?"
" I felt like she was trying to seduce me," I shiver.
Daniel chuckles, " OK."
" For real, bro! I felt like she was trying to use me. And... and she has been acting strange the past few days," I say.
" I agree with you on that, but like you said, shake it off. The whole thing is probably getting to her, and she'll need your support, so stop taking everything in as bad," Daniel replies.
I nod, " Fine, I'll ask her what was up."
" Great idea! Now I got to shower so..."
" Oh, yeah, I'll go. Thanks Daniel!" I say as I leave his room.
" No problem!" He yells back.
I walk to my room and close the door before plopping on my bed.
I picked up my phone to text Melissa.
