You ruined some of my favorite songs for me.
And this isn't a simple statement like one of those cute one-line sentences that thousands of people like on Tumblr.
It's the fact that I keep (songs I used to love) on my playlist hoping one day, maybe, I can listen to them and not remember your face. Did you know music we listen to during our young teenage years is the most impactful on the rest of our lives? They typically become songs we love forever.
Maybe one day I will not make some connections from you to the melodies. Maybe one day, I can blare the speakers and not choke down a sob.
