Chapter 83: Forgot about him?

I drove to the studio. Sky and I got back home the day after I called my manager. Sky is sitting in the passenger seat. I parked the car and got out. Sky did the same. We walked inside.
" Hello, Ms. Royal." My manager said. I smiled and we walked inside the room.
" What songs do you want to sing?" She asked.
" Well, I wrote some duets and solos. I liked this one the most so far." I pointed to the page on my songbook. It was My Everything. (A/N: Credits to Ariana Grande)
" That's it?" She asked.
" Who are you and One last time." I said. (A/N: Credits to Fifth Harmony and Ariana Grande)
" So theses three songs." I nodded. She singed and I got ready to sing.

I lay on my bed. Kenzie, my manager, plans to work on my songs later.
" Christina! Derek is here!" Sky shouted. I got up and went downstairs. Derek was standing there, smiling. He came to me and kissed me but I back away.
" Woah, what are you doing?" I asked.
" What?"
" Derek, I'm your friend. You can't just come kiss me like that." I said.
" We kissed, remember? Hope's birthday party." He said. I suddenly remembered the kiss.
" Oh." I said. How can I forget that?
" I feel horrible." I said. Since, Derek never knew about the only one love thing, he can move on. My parents only lied to me about love so I'm never take love advice from them.
" What do you mean?"
" I forgot and I went on a blind date..." I trailed off, hoping he will understand.
" Oh." He said.
" I'm sorry. I really am. I didn't mean to hurt you. It's just a lot of stuff is happening in my life and I forget." I said. He nodded.
" I understand. I'm probably the last person you will love."
" I'm not saying that." I said.
" But it felt like you were trying to say that." He said. He looked so broken. I feel so stupid.
" Derek..." I trailed off, unsure of what to say.
" It's okay, Christina. I have to go." He said. He walked away before I said anything. I slowly closed the door and sat on the floor. My back towards the door.
" Hey." Sky sat by me.
" I'm so stupid. I hurt him, Sky." I said.
" You would have hurt him anyway. You wouldn't date him. I can see that you and him would barely talk. "
" What about that kiss?"
" The kiss was probably the left over feelings you had. When you kiss him, you might have thought of someone else. What about the kiss you just had with him?" Sky said. She obviously spied.
" I felt... nothing. Maybe shocked." I said.
" Exactly. " She said. I smiled and we got up.
" So when do you plan to make an EP or something?" Sky asked.
" I don't know. When is Kylie coming back?" I asked.
" Tomorrow. She is busy with controlling her powers." Sky said.
" I need to know what I can do. I feel like I'm not even a mermaid." I said.
" We can go back in the water later. I'm tired." She said.
" Okay." I said as I sat on the couch.
