Chapter 79: Missing Franta

I woke up. Sky's head was on my lap. She is sleeping. My phone rings. I try to reach for it but it was too far.
Once I reached for my phone, Sky fell off the couch.
" Ohh." I said. I know that will hurt. I quickly answer the phone.
" Hello?" I said.
" Hey, Christina." I hear Connor's voice. I can't believe it. It's Connor. I missed him so much. We were so close. He was like my brother.
" Connor? I-I miss you." I said.
" I miss you too." He laughed. I giggled.
" I just want you to know that I don't live in California." He said.
" Wait, what? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" I asked.
" I just- I'm sorry, Christina. I just to tell you that I miss you. And I guess this will be goodbye?" He said.
" No, Connor. We can't just say goodbye. When you didn't call or text me, I wonder if you even missed me. Connor, you are like my brother." I said. I didn't want to lose Connor. It's bad that we are drifting away.
" I use to be like your brother. But we are apart, you can't just fly a plane here and come to my house." He said. I was about to say something but my phone died. Ugh. Note to self: buy a new phone. I grabbed the charger and charged my phone.
" He finally called you." Sky said, getting up. I didn't have the energy to fight with her for listening so I just nodded.
Sky got up.
" C'mon, we are going somewhere." She said. I got up and went to my room. I grabbed a blue sweater and high waisted shorts. I went take a shower. I rinse through my hair. I pulled something out. A gummy bear.
" What- How did I- Sky!" I said. I pulled more candy out of my hair. I never felt more disgusted in my life.
I finished showering and walked out. I picked up the candies and threw them away. I washed my hand cos it looked like a fairy just threw up on it. I managed to get most of it off.
I dried my hair with a blow dryer. I'm lucky that the color easily washed out. I brushed my teeth. I changed my clothes. I decided to put my hair in a messy bun.
I walked downstairs and saw Sky eating. She quickly ate and we walked to her car.
" Where are we going?" I asked.
" O2L house." She said.
" Connor doesn't live there." I said.
" I know." She said as she drove.

We walk to the door. Sky seems like she knows what she is going to do. And me? I don't have a clue.
She knocks the door and Ricky opens it.
" Hey." Ricky says with a smile.
" Hey, Ricky." I said. He let us in. The house is surprisingly clean.
" Hey, Christina is here!" Jc ran and hugged me.
" And Sky." Jc said. Sky just glared at him then smiled. Kian came running downstairs and saw me. I smiled. Wishbone came and I picked him up.
" So what brings you here?" Kian says in a funny accent.
" Um, Sky." I said.
" It's about Connor." She said.
" You like him." Ricky said.
" What? No." Sky said.
" Connor and Sky-" Jc began to sing but stopped himself.
" Anyways, do you know why he didn't live with you guys?" Sky said.
" He wanted to live on his own. " Ricky said.
" It's been months since we seen him." Jc said. Same for me.
" Sky." I looked at her. She looked at me.
" Why are you doing this?" I asked. She sighed.
" Christina, don't you notice it? Everyone is leaving." She said.
" What do you mean?" I asked.
" You don't have Connor to talk with. Troye is miles away so you can't see him-" I cut her off.
" I'm fine. I am." I said. But I wish it was true. I miss Connor and Troye so much. They are the best.
" Christina, I don't want you to feel alone. I know that you do. Jordan left. Connor, Troye, Carter." I looked down. Carter.
" Christina." I heard Kian say. I look up.
" I'll be right back." I said. I ran out the door. I ran towards the house. I opened the door and grabbed my phone and called Connor.
" Christina?" He asked.
" Connor, I'm coming to visit you." I said.
