Chapter 38: Boardwalk and Katy

I woke up and Tayor' s arms were around me. I tried to escape but failed.

" Babe, you ain't gonna leave yet." Tayor laughed.

" Please." I whined.

" Give me a kiss." Taylor smiled. His eyes were still closed.

" I have morning breath." I said.

" No, you don't. It smells like candy." Taylor said.

" You have morning breath." I lied. His breath smelled like mint and... rainbows?

" Does rainbows even have a smell?" Taylor laughed. I felt so embarrassed. Before I could say something, Taylor kissed me. We pulled away and smiled.

" Can I go now?" I asked. He nodded and I walked to the bathroom. I did my usual routine. I walked out and Taylor is on my bed. Looks like he didn't move.

" Tay. Get up." I said.

" You have to wake me up." Taylor said. I gave up and went next to him. I sat on his lap. Taylor's hand holds my waist. I lean down and kissed him.

I pulled away when I heard the door open. Hayes and Kylie.

" Well, this is new." Kylie said.

" Do you do this all the time?" Hayes asked.

" Uh. I saw something on Taylor's face so I tried to look at it." I said.

" Nice try. You were kissing. Not like a peck. More like..." Kylie trailed off and thought if something.

" More like a make out?" Hayes said. Kylie nodded.

" How would you know that?" My cheeks were red. Hayes didn't speak.

" Oh my flippin God. You and Kylie had a make-out session and I wasn't there!" I shouted. Kylie turned red from embarrassment.

" I could see it." Taylor said. I laughed. I get off and messed with Hayes.

" Hey, don't mess up my hair. Kylie likes it like this." Hayes said.

" Aww. Hayes is in love." I pinched his cheek. He pull away my hand and rubbed his cheek. I look at Kylie. She looks at me. I form a wide smile and she blushes.

" Why are you in here anyway?" I asked.

" Bored." Hayes said.

" Let's go to the boardwalk. Sky and Matt can come too." Taylor said. We nodded and I went to Sky's room. Matt is in there. They are awake. Easier for me.

" Wanna go to the boardwalk." I asked. They look at me with a frown.

" What's wrong?" I asked.

" Tell her, Matt." Sky said.

" We saw Katy and Drew today...They really want to hurt you." Matt said.

" Uh... o-okay." I was speechless.

" U-Um. I don't need to w-worry." I said. They look at me.

" Boardwalk?" I asked, trying to change the subject. They nodded and I walk to my room. Taylor wasn't in there. Kylie and Hayes isn't either.

I locked my door and sat on my bed. They are not gonna ruin me like they use to. I'm stronger now. I can face them. I hope.

I grabbed my phone. I walked out the door and see Taylor coming towards me.

" Ready?" he asked. I nodded.
