Izuku hummed as he felt soft kisses being pressed on his neck. He shifted in his sleep, snuggling closer to the warm body against him while reality progressively replaced dreams. His emerald eyes eventually slowly fluttered open to land on his handsome alpha, Katsuki's muscled chest bare for Izuku's sight.
"Morning, princess." Katsuki murmured in his low husky voice.
Izuku instantly purred in answer, loving how sexy Katsuki sounded in the morning. He burrowed his face into his alpha's neck and took deep breaths of his scent, a dreamy sight escaping his pink lips. "Morning..." He blissfully whispered.
Katsuki started to gently run his hand through Izuku's green curls. He loved having his omega in his arms. It gave him a feeling of utter calm and serenity, exactly what he needed in his life but never had before Izuku...
Unfortunately, as much as he wanted to stay like this forever, he couldn't. Not today.
"I have to leave, soon." He reluctantly said to Izuku. Today was the day he and his army would attack the silver kingdom. Katsuki intended to find his parent's counsellor and get answers out of him, regardless of what it would take to make the man talk.
The traitor didn't deserve any pity...
Izuku sensed Katsuki's anger slowly swell and decided to gently nuzzle the alpha's face, releasing soothing pheromones to calm him down. He knew Katsuki was quick to become driven by rage, and Izuku didn't want this.
"You remember that you promised me to not kill anyone, right..?" The omega softly reminded, making sure Katsuki hadn't forgotten and would keep his words.
Katsuki let out a sigh as he wrapped his arms tighter around Izuku's slim waist, putting his chin on top of the omega's head. Izuku had the effect of soothing him. It was impressive how relaxed Katsuki became thanks to him.
"I know. I won't kill anyone." The alpha assured. He remembered what he had promised.
"It also means your soldiers aren't allowed to kill anyone either." Izuku added. The promise would mean nothing if people still were killed by someone other than Katsuki.
"Obviously." Katsuki answered, an amused smirk on his lips. Of course Izuku couldn't be fooled. Although, Katsuki hadn't planned to fool the omega. He would respect Izuku's wish of no death if it meant it would make him happy.
Izuku softly smiled as he looked at Katsuki. "Thank you..." He gratefully whispered.
Katsuki pressed a tender kiss on Izuku's lips in response. "Anything for you, princess." He murmured as he gently brushed a green curl out of Izuku's face. He lost himself in Izuku's emerald eyes for some instant, feeling mesmerised by the two beautiful pools of green, before reluctantly removing his arms from around the omega's body.
"I have to go. Kaminari and Momo will stay here to protect you while I'm away." He stated as he left the bed and grabbed his red cloak from where he had thrown it somewhere on the floor yesterday.
Katsuki had decided to leave two of his generals with Izuku. Since Kaminari still hadn't totally recovered, the beta couldn't fight at his full potential yet. That's why Yaoyorozu would stay to protect Izuku as well. Katsuki didn't want to take any risk.
Izuku sat up on the bed, watching Katsuki getting ready. His heart ached at the thought of his alpha leaving for war. He couldn't help but be worried, even though he knew Katsuki had never once lost a fight...
"Be safe, please," he said in a soft voice.
Katsuki looked at Izuku as he fastened his sword to his side. He walked toward the omega and leaned in, pressing a loving kiss on Izuku's irresistible lips. "I will." He answered.
