Chapter 26

"We're leaving soon." Katsuki stated as he fastened his sword at his side, before turning around to face Izuku. "Are you ready to go?" He asked.

Izuku nodded. Except for getting dressed, the omega hadn't needed to do anything since servants had packed his stuff for him. He was ready to go with Katsuki to war but, before leaving, he still had something to do...

"I need to go see Todoroki." Izuku said, his voice slightly hesitant but his words firm. He was apprehending how Katsuki would react to what he had just said but, he really needed to talk to Todoroki. He was ready to stand up to his alpha if it meant he could see him.

"Why the fuck do you need to see him?" Katsuki harshly replied. Immediately his gaze darkened at the mere mention of Todoroki's name, anger and possessiveness promptly taking over him.

The only reason he hadn't killed Todoroki last time was because Izuku's heat and a lot of things had happened. But Katsuki hadn't forgotten what he had seen in the infirmary, simply thinking about it still was filling him up with burning rage. He only needed a reason to and he would tear apart the bastard who had dared touch his omega without any hesitation.

Izuku sensed Katsuki's anger and slightly shuddered in fright. He knew Todoroki was a touchy subject, but it looked like he had underestimated Katsuki's hatred toward the other alpha...

"Because, the last time I saw him, a lot of things happened..." Izuku talked slowly, even tentatively. He needed to choose his words carefully if he wanted to convince Katsuki. "I owe him some explanations..." He began but Katsuki cut him off.

"You don't and I don't want you to go near him." The alpha firmly stated. He would never accept Izuku to go see Todoroki again. "He wants to fuck you, I'm not going to let him approach you." He blurted out.

"He doesn't!" Izuku gasped in shock. Todoroki wasn't like this.

"He fucking does and you know it!" Katsuki shouted in response. "He had his tongue down your throat the last time I saw him!" He yelled, the memory still fresh in his mind.

When he had entered the infirmary and seen another alpha kiss Izuku, his omega, he had never wanted to kill someone more in his life. The wrath and bloodlust he had felt at this instant had been like nothing he had ever experienced before.

Izuku flinched at Katsuki's reminder of what had happened. He lowered his eyes in shame, wishing Katsuki hadn't seen them kiss. "I'm sorry, it was my fault." He murmured. "I shouldn't have misled him..." He admitted.

Izuku had known Todoroki wanted more between them, but he had never made it clear that it wasn't his case, mostly because he hadn't known what he wanted himself... However, after having kissed Todoroki, Izuku now knew.

He didn't love Todoroki.

But he still cared deeply about the knight and didn't want to stop seeing him. He needed to fix things between them and explain himself. It wasn't right to leave things like this.

"I don't want you to see him." Katsuki growled lowly. Why would he accept Izuku to see someone that wanted to fuck him?

"But I can't suddenly stop to see him..!" Izuku argued. "Todoroki is really important to me, he was by my side since I was thirteen..!" He exclaimed. Their bond was strong. The amount of trust Izuku had for Todoroki was immense. Their relationship wasn't something that could just disappear in an instant.

"Exactly why I don't want you near him." Katsuki grunted. Call it jealousy or possessiveness, there was no way he'd let another alpha be this close to his omega.
